L’ERYTHEMA GYRATUM REPENS:

Noto anche come “malattia di Gammel“, l'Erythema Gyratum Repens è un eritema figurato che si crede essere un processo paraneoplastico.
In aggiunta ad altre caratteristiche, le tipiche bande eritematose concentriche aiutano a distinguere gli eritemi gyratum repens da altri eritemi figurati, come l’eritema anulare centrifugum, l’eritema migrans e l’eritema marginato.
L’EGR fu descritta per la prima volta dal dermatologo americano John A. Gammel nel 1952, come manifestazione cutanea in una paziente affetta da carcinoma mammario.
