PCR is such an accurate method that it can detect even a single molecule of the Pathogen DNA and hence become the most reliable, quick, sensitive and effective method of diagnosis worldwide. Molecular Diagnosis gives three fundamental information of the Pathogen
1- Presence of Pathogen (Qualitative)
2- Count of Pathogen (Quantitative)
3- Type of Pathogen (Genotyping)
