World Disability Day at LOVE & CARE Autism Center





The Voice Society for the Rehabilitation of Special Persons takes immense pride in fostering the well-being and promising futures of its children and dedicated staff residing and working within the VOICE Independent Living Center (ILC).

Today, in connection with 3rd December World Disability Day, we mark World Disability Day, a global initiative to promote awareness and inclusion of persons with disabilities.

In Pakistan, millions face challenges accessing education, employment, and healthcare due to physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities. But disability doesn't mean inability. Many individuals with disabilities are breaking barriers and excelling in various fields.

At LOVE & CARE Autism Center, managed by Ms. Aqsa and Team, they are running the Autism Center for children with Autism. We believe in empowering individuals with disabilities. Let's spread a positive message for a society where everyone has equal opportunities. Let's break stigmas and build inclusive communities. We advocate for accessible infrastructure and inclusivity in education, at the workplace, and in every aspect of life.

The kids were totally pumped up participating in loads of sports activities. It was awesome to see their efforts pay off as they gave their best in the games. From running around like pros to showcasing their teamwork in group activities, these young champions proved that with passion and practice, anything's possible. Their enthusiasm was infectious, making the event super fun.

As we commemorate World Disability Day, let's pledge to be allies and champions for disability rights. Together, we can make a difference. The Voice Team, invited by LOVE & CARE Autism Center, presented shields of honor to chief guests Humayun Zaheer, Farooq Raza, and Shahgufta Khnaum.

Today, December 3rd, marks World Disability Day, a global initiative promoting awareness and inclusion of persons with disabilities. In Pakistan, millions face challenges accessing education, employment, and healthcare due to physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities. But disability doesn't mean inability – many individuals are breaking barriers and excelling in various fields!

We're grateful to Ms. Naila Zia for arranging an unforgettable night filled with joy, entertainment, music, and delicious food. Children and guests enjoyed live Fried Fish, Soup, Pathory, and Cold Drinks. The VOICE Band had everyone grooving with amazing songs.

At VOICE, we believe in empowering individuals with disabilities. Let's spread a positive message for a society where everyone has equal opportunities. Let's break stigmas and build inclusive communities. We advocate for accessible infrastructure and inclusivity in education, at the workplace, and in every aspect of life.

Session on Mental Health – By Dr. Ammar Shahzad





The Voice Society for the Rehabilitation of Special Persons takes immense pride in fostering the well-being and promising futures of its children and dedicated staff residing and working within the VOICE Independent Living Center (ILC).

Today, Doctor Ammar Shahzad, founder of Discover Psychology, along with their team members, will educate the children regarding the importance of Quality Mental Health.

Mental Health for Children with Disabilities: Breaking Barriers. Children with Disabilities often face unique challenges that impact their mental health. Physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities can lead to feelings of isolation, low self-esteem, and anxiety.

Good mental health is crucial for overall well-being, social connections, and learning. For children with disabilities, it's vital to address mental health needs alongside physical care.

Good mental health can be achieved in an Inclusive environment, along with accessible counseling and family support, which fosters positive reinforcement for good mental health.

Visit IAC - Institute for Art and Culture -Lahore





The Voice Society for the Rehabilitation of Special Persons takes immense pride in fostering the well-being and promising futures of its children and dedicated staff residing and working within the VOICE Independent Living Center (ILC).

We are highly thankful to Mr. Asim Ijaz, Head of Admission & Marketing, invite us to visit the IAC (Institute for Art and Culture). Founded in 2018, the Institute for Art & Culture is a federally chartered, HEC-recognized university offering degrees in Art, Architecture, Design, Cinematic Arts, Robotics, Informatics, Culture & Languages.

The structure, facilities, faculty, and courses at IAC are designed to provide a unique learning experience, enhancing students' abilities in the field of Art and Culture. We are particularly impressed by the institute's efforts in promoting art and culture as a means of empowerment and social change.

We look forward to exploring potential collaborations and joint projects with IAC that promote learning, awareness, and understanding of disability through art and culture. This partnership would not only benefit our organizations but also contribute to the betterment of the community.
