Mobile Hospital
Mobile hospitals have always proven to be extremely useful throughout history. They can be put up in the form of tents, or as ambulances equipped with medical and healthcare equipment traveling to areas where medical attention is needed. There are several villages and towns where there are no hospitals or proper healthcare facilities to tend to the people. Many of these people liv
e below the poverty line and cannot afford to travel to far away hospitals that are too expensive for them to afford anyway. Thus they suffer due to not being able to receive basic medical treatment for minor illnesses, which later on escalate into chronic diseases that are more difficult to treat and afford. A mobile hospital traveling to these areas and providing healthcare to those in need can help save and improve a lot of lives. These moving hospitals are also very useful during natural disasters such as earthquakes or epidemics. Help4help is currently planning towards setting up a team of mobile hospitals that will travel around to the rural areas or villages in Lahore where no proper medical facilities are available nearby. The objective is to provide basic healthcare and treatment to anyone who needs it, and to expand to other areas outside Lahore in the future.
