The Dean IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal visited family health filter clinic, various departments and the institution to see the daily affairs and discussed the institutional progress to ensure quality work done. The instructions were given by the dean to help accomplish quality work at the institute. ‎IPH team established the flood relief medical camp at THEME Society Lahore near Ravi River.
‎
‎Aside from medical checkup & treatment services, the Vector situation was also checked. On the direction of worthy Dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal, the faculty, support staff and students arranged a medical camp and donation activity for the flood affected people at THEME Society, Lahore. The medical camp activity included general check up, pediatrics, dental and preventive services such as vaccine, surveillance activity for insecticides and precautionary measures from water and vector borne diseases. The people praised and thanked the IPH team for their humanitarian efforts. The IPH team will continue to take their part in doing flood relief activities till the rehabilitation continues. May Allah foster HIS countless blessings and reduce their pain.

Family Filter Health Clinic, IPH (Feedback) - A Project for the Community
Under the guidance and supervision of the dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal, a project for the community to timely diagnose, treat the patients as well as referral for emergency and need for tertiary care healthcare facilities. IPH Journal/Research Club – Weekly Journal/Research Club & Student Meet up
To enhance the education continuously by engaging and discussing the advancements in medical field through latest literature and research activities, the postgraduate students, along with the faculty of various institutes have been doing series of journal club/research meetings every Saturday. This Saturday, 20-09-2025, the postgraduate students and undergraduate students (BSc. MLT) presented their research and were engaged by the renowned researcher from various institutes and faculty of the institute. The faculty, the postgraduate and undergraduate students from various institutions attended the research workshop. The participants responded that this series would help a lot in understanding the latest research including medical advancements among the masses that are deprived of basic medical facilities along with improving their research proposals to new standards.

The Policy Dialogue on Cervical Cancer Vaccine (Human Papillomavirus), held under the theme “Prevention is Protection – Let Us Break the Silence, Not the Health,” was formally inaugurated by Professor Dr. Saira Afzal, Dean, Institute of Public Health. Daily Morning Meeting - Updates & Institutional Affairs
The worthy dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal has started daily morning meetings with the head of departments and faculty to have insight on the daily tasks assigned and discuss institutional affairs for better service delivery and governance. The dean directed the concerned HODs to furnish daily update on the progress pertaining to institution as well as maintaining the service delivery standards and get maximum output for the general population and community services.
