Daily Morning Meeting - Updates & Institutional Affairs
The worthy Dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal has started daily morning meetings with the head of departments and faculty to have insight on the daily tasks assigned and discuss institutional affairs for better service delivery and governance. The dean directed the concerned HODs to furnish daily update on the progress pertaining to institution as well as maintaining the service delivery standards and get maximum output for the general population and community services.

IPH Policy Dialogue Series successfully convened experts to discuss “Strengthening Diagnostic Radiology Services in Pakistan: Improving Access, Quality & Patient Safety.”
Insightful deliberations led by Dr Ali Zafar Sheikh, under the patronage of Prof Dr Saira Afzal, Dean IPH, highlighted pathways to safer and more equitable diagnostic services.

IPHCON25 Service Excellence Awards - Prof. Dr. Shahid Mehmood
Prof. Dr. Shahid Mehmood is a distinguished medical educationist, known for his exemplary service in academic leadership and postgraduate training. He has served in various administrative capacities, including department leadership and institutional governance roles that have strengthened academic standards and clinical services. With vast teaching experience, he has guided numerous FCPS, MD, and MPhil trainees.
Prof. Dr. Shahid is widely respected for his deep understanding of curriculum development, assessment strategies, and academic accreditation processes. His contributions extend to national committees, examination boards, and professional development programs. Through his dedication and scholarly excellence, he continues to contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s medical education system.
