Upcoming Weekly Autism & Developmental Delay Workshop Series - "Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder" on 04-08-2025
Under the guidance and supervision of the worthy dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal, for enhancing the awareness and diagnoses of autism, related problems continuously by engaging and discussing the advancements in medical field through experts and approved procedures. On the coming Monday, 04-08-2025, the workshop on "Understanding the Autism Spectrum Disorder". The workshop is being arranged in collaboration with the Autism spectrum disorder welfare trust. The facilitators from the trust (Miss Ayesha Arooj) will give hands on trainings to the participants so that they become master trainers and respond to needs of the autism children and their developmental delay problems.

Family Filter Health Clinic, IPH - A Project for the Community
Under the guidance and supervision of the dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal, a project for the community to timely diagnose, treat the patients as well as referral for emergency and need for tertiary care healthcare facilities. The filter clinic will help the community and establishing the database of the diseases.

Clean & Green Punjab - Initiative PGMI & IPH
To take part in "clean & green Punjab, Initiative by the CM Punjab, Madam Maryam Nawaz Sharif; the dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal was invited by the Principal, PGMI, Prof. Dr. Farooq Afzal on the event of plantation drive. The worthy dean along with principal and faculty members planted the trees and other ornamental plants to make the institute premises lush green and healthy environment. All the participants decided to continue nurturing the nature through planting environment friendly trees.

"Daily Visit – Family Health Filter Clinic, Institutional Affairs"
The Dean IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal along with the team (Ms. Fatima Syed, Dr. Atta Haseeb & Ministerial Staff) visited family health filter clinic, various departments and the institution to see the daily affairs and discussed the institutional progress to ensure quality work done. They also looked the arrangements for policy dialogue. The instructions were given by the dean to help accomplish quality work at the institute. The dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal instructed important changes to have useful output for the service delivery.

Weekly Autism & Developmental Delay Workshop Series - "An orientation Session on Developmental Delay"
Under the guidance and supervision of the worthy dean, IPH, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal, for enhancing the awareness and diagnoses of autism, related problems continuously by engaging and discussing the advancements in medical field through experts and approved procedures. The postgraduate students, along with the faculty of the institute have started series of Weekly Autism & Developmental Delay Workshops every Monday. This Monday, 28-07-2025, the faculty, the internees as well as postgraduate students attended the workshop on "An orientation Session on Developmental Delay". The workshop was arranged in collaboration with the Autism welfare trust. The facilitators from the trust will give hands on trainings to the participants so that they become master trainers and respond to needs of the autism children and their developmental delay problems. This series would help a lot in understanding the prescribed processes including medical advancements among the masses that are deprived of basic medical facilities as well as lacking the proper identification and management.

Spiritual Session Weekly Series – Dr. Arshad (Ex-PMO, IPH)
“Surah AlNajm”
To enhance the spiritual life ahead, worthy dean, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal has continued a new innovation to the healthy and spiritual activities at IPH. She has added continuity of spiritual sessions on weekly basis through well-renowned spiritual healer and Islamic scholar, Dr. Arshad (Ex-PMO, IPH). On 28-07-2025 marked the 21st Dars of this series attended by the worthy dean, faculty, internees, other staff members as well as students. This series would also help the institutional employees to foster healthy life through good deeds for the mankind by spreading the knowledge of Islam and its taleemat. The session concluded with dua for the solidarity of Muslims and for the departed souls as well as spiritual healing along with decrease in the sufferings of humanity especially Muslims across the globe.

The meeting started with the recitation of Quran, Prof. Dr. Saira Afzal welcomed the participants and started the proceedings with the approval of previously conducted academic council meeting minutes. The regular agenda items include:
1. Building Inaugural Ceremony 18 August, 2025, preparation and finalization of the plan, 2. Pre-flood preparedness plan – IPH, 3. Shifting of Departments Nutrition department store and stock register details (Ms. Fatima Syed) and 4. Establishing Infectious Diseases Hospital and Research Center
All the agenda were discussed and approved accordingly for on wards submission to BOM, IPH. The meeting ended with the vision to strengthen the institute and soon will become degree awarding institute.

IPH Journal/Research Club – Weekly Journal/Research Club & Student Meet up
To enhance the education continuously by engaging and discussing the advancements in medical field through latest literature and research activities, the postgraduate students, along with the faculty of various institutes have been doing series of journal club/research meetings every Saturday. This Saturday, 26-07-2025, the postgraduate student (Dr. Shahbaz Ahmed, M.phil) and internees of IPH presented their research. The faculty, the internees as well as postgraduate students from various institutions attended the research evaluation workshop. The participants responded that this series would help a lot in understanding the latest research including medical advancements among the masses that are deprived of basic medical facilities along with improving their research proposals to new standards.
