Melasma is a common skin disorder that causes dark, discolored patches on the skin, most often on the face. It is frequently triggered by hormonal changes during pregnancy,oral contraceptives,sun exposure,nutritional deficiency etc.These patches are psychologically distressing, and they can darken with time etc.
