Public awareness message!
"Loss of wrist and hand movement after wrong injection site on arm from non trained staff"
A young girl presented in our OPD room 11 Mayo hospital with wrist drops and severe pain in left arm and hand after injection from quake from periphery of Punjab.
It's being three month she is not getting better. Her clinical examination and tests confirmed wrong site injection in deltoid leading to radial nerve injury.
We request all the patients to get injections in extreme need from only trained paramedical staff so you may not get complications.
