The art and the artist!

Meet Manahil, a 10-year-old from Rawalpindi, currently battling Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Lahore. While receiving treatment, she crafted these lovely flowers using modelling dough. Modelling-dough activities are a favourite on our paediatric floor, supported by the hospital’s dedicated playroom.

These simple, expressive outlets help children process emotions, build resilience, and find hope amid tough days. It is all part of Shaukat Khanum’s commitment to providing holistic care to all patients.
