At the Lahore Press Club, the governing body organized a workshop on animal care at the Nisar Usmani Auditorium. The session was conducted in collaboration with Ali Veterinary Hospital, represented by its CEO, Dr. Ahmad Ali Chaudhry.
During the event, Imran Sheikh, Joint Secretary of the Lahore Press Club, stated that the primary objective of the workshop was to raise public awareness regarding the care and welfare of pet animals. He presented a bouquet and a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Ali in recognition of his contributions.
Dr. Ali delivered a detailed lecture on animal rights, emphasizing the importance of ensuring safety and protection for stray animals. He highlighted the generally positive and non-aggressive behavior of animals toward humans and noted that cruelty often arises from a lack of awareness. He also elaborated on the significance of the TNVR program as an effective and humane approach to managing stray animal populations.
