National Eye Center was privileged to conduct free eye camps with Dr. Haider for three consecutive years 2017-19 in DHQ Khaplu, Skardu. He was a valuable asset for this great cause and offered great help and hospitality throughout as MS DHQ Kaplu Skardu hospital
He brought so much positivity, dedication, and warmth to our workplace. His laughter and support made every day brighter, and their absence left a void that can never be filled. Our deepest sympathies go out to their family and friends as we mourn this profound loss together.
He was a great humanitarian, with a kind heart. His impact on numerous lives and his legacy will live on forever. He will be dearly missed. May Allah grant him high ranks in Jannah.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, team NECL https://www.necl.com.pk/ has successfully continued its CSR activities with the help of M/S Medcare MSO https://medcaremso.com/ at their Lahore Head Office Gulberg Lahore. Team NECL participated in a full-day eye screening camp for employees under the umbrella of “Save Eye @ Work”. We are pleased to announce that we entertained around 100 employees, including those who had not consulted the Eye consultants before due to their work exigency and other reasons. The team considered every employee with due merit and gave sincere recommendations for improvement in their quality lifestyle.
We hereby thank M/S Medcare MSO for their gracious, and extended cooperation and congratulate them on the successful organization of this event which not only covered this eye camp but also other healthy activities for the sake of the health and safety of their employees. By the grace of Almighty Allah, the National Eye Center has successfully completed the 3 years of inclusion of Contoura Vision in refractive surgery with the Alcon Wavelight refractive surgery suit, which was commissioned in 2014. We feel honored to announce that we are the pioneer of introducing the Contoura vision in Lahore and have treated thousands of cases with this procedure. The inclusion of this facility to get rid of glasses and contact lenses has enhanced the trust of our customers. We are determined to serve our valued customers with the latest and state-of-the-art equipment for the sake of zero rework in the coming time. To celebrate this achievement, a cake-cutting ceremony was held chaired by the mother of Dr. Afzal Hussain, and distribution of gift to the staff, whose prayers and extensive efforts have contributed a lot to the success of our mission.

Prof Dr Hussain Ahmad khaqan Senior Eye Consultant at National Eye Center, Lahore AWARDED two prestigious Awards of Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology ( APAO) at the event of APAO 2023 Congress , Kualalampur ,Malaysia .

Awards :
1- APAO Senior Achievement Award 2023 ( First Ever Pakistani 🇵🇰 to receive this award in history of APAO , in recognition of significant scientific contributions in last 16 years from the platform of APAO ) , He was also awarded APAO Achievement Award in 2015 , China 🇨🇳( He was youngest ophthalmologist to get this award in 2015).

2- APAO Distinguished Services for Prevention of Blindness.

at APAO 2023 .

He is invited speaker & presenting three scientific research , he also conducting first ever instruction course , wet lab on posterior vitrectomy at APAO 2023
