The LISCA Psychological Assessment Service provides specialized evalu

ations, or testing, of child and adolescent psychological functioning using standardized psychometric techniques. The clinic then provides comprehensive treatment plan options for the improvement of intellectual, academic, neuropsychological, adaptive, and social-emotional functioning.

شادی کی تقریب میں ایک صاحب اپنے جاننے والے آدمی کے پاس جاتے ھیں اور پوچھتے ھیں۔۔ کیا آپ نے مجھے پہچانا؟"
انہوں نے غور سے دیکھا اور کہا "ھاں آپ میرے پرائمری سکول کے شاگرد ھو۔ کیا کر رھے ھو آج کل؟"
شاگرد نے جواب دیا کہ "میں بھی آپ کی طرح سکول ٹیچر ھوں۔اور ٹیچر بننے کی یہ خواہش مجھ میں آپ ھی کی وجہ سے پیدا ھوئی۔"
استاد نے پوچھا "وہ کیسے؟"
شاگرد نے جواب دیا، "آپ کو یاد ھے کہ ایک بار کلاس کے ایک لڑکے کی بہت خوبصورت گھڑی چوری ھو گئی تھی اور وہ گھڑی میں نے چرائی تھی۔ آپ نے پوری کلاس کو کہا تھا کہ جس نے بھی گھڑی چرائی ھے واپس کر دے۔ میں گھڑی واپس کرنا چاھتا تھا لیکن شرمندگی سے بچنے کے لئے یہ جرات نہ کر سکا۔
آپ نے پوری کلاس کو دیوار کی طرف منہ کر کے ، آنکھیں بند کر کے کھڑے ھونے کا حکم دیا اور سب کی جیبوں کی تلاشی لی اور میری جیب سے گھڑی نکال کر بھی میرا نام لئے بغیر وہ گھڑی اس کے مالک کو دے دی اور مجھے کبھی اس عمل پر شرمندہ نہ کیا۔ میں نے اسی دن سے استاد بننے کا تہیئہ کر لیا تھا۔"
استاد نے کہا کہ "کہانی کچھ یوں ھے کہ تلاشی کے دوران میں نے بھی اپنی آنکھیں بند کر لی تھیں اور مجھے بھی آج ھی پتہ چلا ھے کہ وہ گھڑی آپ نے چرائی تھی۔"
کیا ھم ایسے استاد بن سکتے ھیں جو اپنے اعمال سے بچوں کو استاد بننے کی ترغیب دے سکیں نہ کہ چھوٹی چھوٹی غلطیوں پر بچوں کو پوری کلاس کے سامنے شرمندہ کریں۔
