🔹HbA1c – to evaluate long-term blood sugar control
🔹High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (HS-CRP) – an important marker of inflammation linked with cardiac risk
🔹Apolipoproteins (Apo A1, Apo B) – advanced indicators of cholesterol transport and heart disease risk

By combining traditional and advanced biomarkers, the Heart Health Profile empowers individuals and clinicians to identify risks early and take preventive action.

Thyroid function plays a vital role in maintaining cardiovascular health. An overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) may accelerate heart rate, provoke arrhythmias, and increase the risk of heart failure. Conversely, an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) can slow the heartbeat, elevate cholesterol levels, and contribute to hypertension and arterial disease.
Both conditions, if left untreated, place significant strain on the heart. Routine thyroid evaluations and timely management are essential to safeguard cardiac health and overall well-being.
