⚠️ Let’s Talk About Staying Safe from Falls at Work ⚠️
Every year, so many workers get hurt just because of one small slip or fall from height — something that could have been prevented. Whether you’re on a ladder, scaffold, or rooftop, your safety always comes first.
1️⃣ Always wear your harness — and check it twice.
Make sure it fits properly and is connected to a solid anchor point. A small check can make a big difference.
2️⃣ Look after your equipment.
Never step on a damaged ladder or loose platform. If something doesn’t feel right, stop and fix it before climbing.
3️⃣ Keep your balance and stay focused.
Use both hands and move carefully. Rushing or losing focus, even for a second, can be dangerous.
4️⃣ Don’t leave clutter around.
A few scattered tools or cables near the edge can easily cause a trip — tidy as you work.
5️⃣ Never work at height alone.
Having a co-worker nearby isn’t just helpful — it could save your life in case of an emergency.
6️⃣ Follow your site’s safety rules.
They exist for a reason — to protect you and everyone else working alongside you.
At the end of the day, nothing matters more than getting home safely to your family.
