CHPS created in 1999, is a post-graduate public health research & training institute in the private sector. The primary aim of the institution is to be a Centre of Excellence that feeds into the national policy with evidence from the field and supply of specialized human resource in the field of health & allied sciences. I has conducted a 1-year Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree programs (exec
utive evening programme), Master in Health Administration 1-year degree programme and various short courses. To date, its graduates are working in national and international organizations the world over. CHPS also specializes in conducting local & national research, including research in disaster/post disaster situations. It has been short listed as a research organization for commissioned tenders by Research and Advocacy Fund (RAF), Pakistan, which in-turn is supported by DFID, UK. Furthermore, CHPS has expertise in conducting monitoring and/or evaluation & developing systems.
