WORLD DIABETES DAY 2024

World Diabetes Day 2024 was celebrated at Farooq Hospital, Westwood Branch, Lahore on 16 November 2024.

It turned out to be a mammoth success and more than 100 patients were screened for HbA1c, lipid profile n uric acid.
All patients received guidance regarding control of their sugar n to prevent complications.
Me n my team saw all these patients n even medications were prescribed on the spot.
More than 50 glucometers were distributed amongst patients.
At the end there was an awareness walk for diabetes and the day ended on a very healthy note.

World Diabetes Day 2024 will be celebrated at Farooq Hospital, Westwood Branch, Lahore on 16 November in Sha Allah.
I cordially invite u to participate in this mega event n contribute for the welfare of patients with diabetes.
It's a patient focused event organized solely for the betterment of diabetic patients.
The agenda of the event is as under:
• Free screening of patients with sugar, HbA1c, Uric acid, BMI, Lipids etc
• Diabetic education for patients to deal with the disease and its complications
• Diabetic Education regarding use of Insulin and other injectables
• Patients’ group-based education about different aspects of diabetes management and interactive session to address their queries
• Gift hampers for diabetic patients
• Diabetic Awareness Walk by guests and patients
• Lunch for faculty and distinguished guests

Nishtar Medical University

Thanks to Vice Chancellor n Principal, Nishtar Medical University on inviting me for a very important talk on
"Management of Diabetic Medications in Ramadan".

This academic session was held at the Main Auditorium of Nishtar Medical University on 7 March 2024.
A large number of students, post graduates n paramedics attended the seminar.

Alhamdolillah, World Diabetes Day 2023 turned out to be a mammoth success on Saturday 18 November at Farooq Hospital, Westwood Branch, Lahore.

More than 100 patients attended n all had their HbA1c, lipid profile, uric acid, sugar n BMI etc.
Me n my team saw the same number of patients n guided them according to their current status regarding lifestyle modifications n medications.
