For those who have hearing loss, appropriate and timely interventions can facilitate access to education, employment and communication.
Globally, there is lack of access to interventions to address hearing loss, such as hearing aids.
Early intervention should be made available through the health systems.

World AUDIOLOGIST Day

An audiologist is a health-care professional specialised in identifying, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring disorders of the auditory and vestibular systems. Audiologists are trained to diagnose, manage and/or treat hearing, tinnitus, or balance problems. They dispense, manage, and rehabilitate hearing aids and assess candidacy for and cochlear implants.
