Play and Development:
Play is far more than simple entertainment for children because it is an essential part of how they learn and grow. What may look like fun or free time is actually important mental work 👀
When children play, their brains are actively processing new ideas, experimenting with possibilities, and building important skills. They learn how to solve problems. They imagine different situations, try new approaches, and figure out how things work.
Whether they are building with blocks, playing pretend, or exploring their surroundings, they are constantly learning to think, plan, and make decisions.
When children are given the freedom to explore their environment, they discover new things, ask questions, and learn from their experiences. This process helps them build confidence, curiosity, and independence, all of which are important for healthy cognitive and emotional growth 🌝🤝.
