The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has introduced the Wasteful and Inappropriate Service Reduction (WISeR) Model to reduce unnecessary spending in Original Medicare. This model will be implemented in six states starting January 1, 2026.
*Affected States*
Arizona, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Washington will participate in the WISeR Mode.
