گردے کی پتھری (Kidney Stone)

گردے کی پتھری ایک عام یورولوجیکل بیماری ہے جس میں گردے کے اندر یا پیشاب کے راستے میں سخت کیلشیم، یورک ایسڈ یا دیگر معدنیات کے ذرات جم کر پتھری کی شکل اختیار کر لیتے ہیں۔

وجوہات
• پانی کم پینا (ڈی ہائیڈریشن)
• پیشاب میں کیلشیم یا آکسالیٹ کی زیادتی
• نمکین اور پروٹین والی غذا کا زیادہ استعمال
• یورک ایسڈ یا میٹابولک مسائل
• موروثی عوامل

علامات
• کمر یا پہلو میں شدید درد (Flank Pain)
• پیشاب میں خون آنا
• متلی یا الٹی
• پیشاب کا کم یا مشکل سے آنا
• بخار یا انفیکشن کی علامات

تشخیص
• الٹراساؤنڈ (Ultrasound)
• سی ٹی اسکین (CT KUB)
• یورین ٹیسٹ اور خون کے ٹیسٹ

علاج
1. چھوٹی پتھری (≤5mm):
• زیادہ پانی پینا
• درد کم کرنے والی دوائیں
• دوا کے ذریعے پتھری خارج کرنے کی کوشش (Medical Expulsive Therapy)
2. بڑی پتھری یا پیچیدگی کے ساتھ:
• ESWL (Shock Wave Therapy)
• URS (Ureteroscopy)
• PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy)
• اوپن سرجری (کم ہی کی جاتی ہے)

احتیاطی تدابیر
• روزانہ 2-3 لیٹر پانی پینا
• نمک اور زیادہ پروٹین والی غذا سے پرہیز
• سبزیوں اور پھلوں کا استعمال

گردوں کا کینسر ایک خاموش اور خطرناک بیماری ہے جو اکثر ابتدائی مراحل میں کسی واضح علامت کے بغیر بڑھتی رہتی ہے۔ زیادہ تر مریضوں کو اس کا پتا اُس وقت چلتا ہے جب بیماری کافی حد تک پھیل چکی ہوتی ہے۔ گردوں کے کینسر کی تشخیص کے لیے سب سے مؤثر اور آسان طریقہ الٹراساؤنڈ ہے، جو ایک سادہ اور درد سے پاک ٹیسٹ ہے۔ اگر وقت پر تشخیص ہو جائے تو علاج کے امکانات کافی بہتر ہو جاتے ہیں۔
