جو لوگ کرونا سے خوفزدہ ہورہے وہ ایک بار ٹی وی بند کرکے گھر سے باہر نکل کر زندگی کا جائزہ لیں۔

جن ایس او پیز کا ذکر کیا جارھا وہ کہاں کہاں اپلائی ہورہے اور لوگ ان کو کتنا فالو کررہے ہیں۔

جلسے ہورہے ہیں جلوس نکل رہے ہیں۔ شادیاں بیاہ پورے دھوم دھام سے منائے جارہے ہیں اور جنازوں پر کیا جانے والا اہتمام بھی معمول کے مطابق چل رھا ہے۔ بازاروں میں رش ہے ۔ منڈیاں لوگوں سے بھری ہوئی ہیں۔ بسوں ٹرینوں میں جو احتیاط ہورہی وہ بھی سب کو معلوم ہے۔

اور اگر اس طرح کی احتیاطوں کے بعد بھی بائیس کروڑ کی آبادی میں دو سے تین ہزار کیسز رپورٹ ہورہے ہیں تو سمجھ لیں کرونا دفاعی پوزیشن پر جا چکا ہے۔۔۔

اگر روزانہ کے اعداد و شمار سے پریشان ہورہے ہیں تو پچھلے سال نومبر اور دسمبر کی بیماریوں اور اموات کے اعدادوشمار نکال کر اس سال کے اعدادوشمار سے مقابلہ کر لیں۔ ۔میری ذاتی رائے کے مطابق اس سال بیماریاں پچھلے سال کی نسبت بہت کم ہیں ۔۔کبھی کبھی تو مجھے لگتا ہے لوگوں نے دوسری بیماریوں سے مرنا ہی چھوڑ دیا ہے

اس میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ کرونا وائرس معمول کے وائرسز کی بنسب زیادہ سخت جان اور خطرناک ہے لیکن ایسا بھی نہیں کہ اب اس کے خوف سے اپنے اعصاب کمزور کرلیں۔۔

اگر کوئی کرونا سے متاثر ہوچکا ہے تو ذہن میں رکھیں ایک دن سے اگلے دو ہفتے تک یہ بیماری آپکو تنگ کر سکتی ہے۔ اس لیئے بے جا ٹسٹوں کے چکر میں نہ پڑیں۔ اپنے بخار کو کنٹرول کریں اور اپنے اعصاب پر قابو رکھیں۔ اگر کوئی سیریس اشو نہیں ہے تو خودساختہ ٹسٹ کروانے سے سوائے ذہنی پریشانی اور خوف میں مبتلا ہونے کے کوئی فائدہ نہیں ہوگا۔

کرونا وائرس اس قدر پھیل چکا ہے کہ اس کو ختم ہونے میں سالوں لگ جانے ہیں۔اس کے سیزنل اٹیک آتے رہنے ہیں۔ اور کم۔ازکم اگلے دو سال اس کے ساتھ رہنا ہے۔ لیکن وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ اس کے نقصان پہنچانے کی صلاحیت کم ہوتی جائے گی۔ مطلب یہ لوگوں کے جسموں میں تو داخل ہوگا لیکن نقصان بہت کم پہنچائے گا۔ بلکہ میرے خیال میں تو اگلے دو سال نزلہ زکام کا دوسرا نام کرونا ہی بن جانا ہے۔۔

اگر آپ شوگر کے مریض ہیں۔ بلڈ پریشر زیادہ ہوتا ہے۔ دمے کے مسائل کا شکار رہتے ہیں تو ان کو کنٹرول کرکے رکھیں۔ کہیں یہ نہ ہو اندر سے بوسیدہ درخت کی طرح کرونا آپکو گرا دے۔۔
یاد رکھیں اندرونی طور پر کمزور شخص کو صرف کرونا ہی نہیں کوئی بیماری بھی گرا سکتی ہے۔
کرونا کی ٹینشن ذہنوں پر سوار کرنے کی بجائے اپنی صحت کا خیال رکھیں۔ اپنی قوت مدافعت بڑھانے پر توجہ دیں۔صحت مند زندگی کو اپنانے کے بارے میں سنجیدہ کوشش کریں

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGISTS ARE NOT QUACK

Medical Laboratory Technology is a unique profession and backbone of health sector intended for clinical diagnosis and research. BSc is Medical Lab. Technology is a degree program being offered throughout the country by HEC recognized universities/ institutions. Medical Lab Technologists are also serving the public sector in BS-17 to BS-20, with minimum qualification of 16 years education BS MLT to MPhil and PhD. Medical Lab Technologists are also considered as Lab. Scientists worldwide.
According to the official website of Primary & Secondary healthcare department, Govt. of the Punjab, 123 out of 140 DHQ and THQ hospitals across province, are running their labs without Pathologists. There are 135 posts of Pathologists are vacant in these healthcare facilities. To meet this huge deficiency of Pathologists, the Govt. of Punjab, has recruited more than 300 qualified Medical Lab Technologists in BS-17 at THQ and DHQ level.
It is very surprising that these skilled professionals and qualified Medical Lab Technologists, are authorized to run laboratories in Govt. sector at their own, but in private sector they are considered as QUACKS by Punjab healthcare commission (PHC). According to PHC, Medical Lab Technologists cant be registered/ licensed by healthcare commission due to non-formation of their representative council. PHC is not allowing Medical Lab Technologists to run their labs. At the same time PHC is not taking ANTI-QUACKERY action against labs of Govt. sector (DHQs, THQs, RHCs and BHUs) being run by Medical Lab Technologists, Lab Technicians and Lab assistants, since these professionals are quacks according to PHC verdict.
The much needed governing body i.e. a council to represent the Medical Lab Technologists/ Allied health professionals, is the responsibility of Govt. of Pakistan, but the case of establishment of this council is still pending in federal health department since many years and Govt. is failed to establish this council for hundreds of thousands qualified professionals of the country.
Medical Laboratory Technologists Association of Pakistan (MLTAP) is the representative organization of Medical Lab Technologists. MLTAP has submitted a number of documents to PHC for suggestions, assistance and requested that MLTAP may please be included as stake holder in PHC for Clinical Laboratories, like other medical associations and representative bodies but PHC has not responded, so far.

Medical Lab Technologists are not quacks, since these are qualified professional degree holders with a minimum qualification of B.Sc, BS MLT (16 years degree) to MPhil and PhD in relevant Lab sciences discipline from HEC recognized universities in contrast to non-qualified personnel (Quacks).
In the supreme interest of justice, it is requested that Medical Lab Technologists may please be allowed to run their labs for routine clinical diagnosis to serve the ailing humanity of the country and not be considered as Quacks.
