Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan presided over a training on 'Oxygen Therapy Gudelines for Children'. The training was organized by DGHS Peshawar in collaboration with WHO, PPA, and UNICEF. The training outlined Importance of Oxygen Therapy in children, Sources of Oxygen, Monitoring of Child on Oxygen, Infection Prevention protocols in general and related to oxygen equipment. In the end DHO Mardan distributed certificates among the participants.

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan presided over a 2 days training on 'National Oxygen Therapy Guidelines for Children' the training highlighted importance of oxygen therapy in children, sources of oxygen, monitoring of child on oxygen, infection prevention protocols in general and related to oxygen equipment. The training was organized by Directorate General Health Services, KP. The training was attended by different employees of District Health Department Mardan. In the end, Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan and Dr. Mussadiq Gul Coordinator Public Health distributed certificates among the participants.
ڈاکٹر جاوید اقبال ڈی ایچ او مردان نے 'نیشنل آکسیجن تھراپی گائیڈ لائنز فار چلڈرن' کے موضوع پر 2 روزہ ٹریننگ کی صدارت کی جس میں بچوں میں آکسیجن تھراپی کی اہمیت، آکسیجن کے ذرائع، آکسیجن پر بچے کی نگرانی، عام طور پر انفیکشن سے بچاؤ کے پروٹوکول اور آکسیجن سے متعلق امور پر روشنی ڈالی گئی۔ سامان تربیت کا اہتمام ڈائریکٹوریٹ جنرل ہیلتھ سروسز، کے پی نے پاکستان پیڈیاٹرک ایسوسی ایشن، یونیسیف اور ورلڈ ہیلتھ آرگنائزیشن کے اشتراک سے کیا تھا۔ ٹریننگ میں ضلعی محکمہ صحت مردان کے مختلف ملازمین نے شرکت کی۔ آخر میں ڈاکٹر جاوید اقبال ڈی ایچ او مردان اور ڈاکٹر مصدق گل کوآرڈینیٹر پبلک ہیلتھ نے شرکاء میں اسناد تقسیم کیں۔

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan chaired AFP Surveillance review meeting. On this occasion, Dr. Imtiaz Coordinator EPI, Dr. Mussadiq Coordinator Public Health and Dr. Umer N-Stop Officer were also present. The overall snapshot of the district regarding AFP was discussed. DHO Mardan was also briefed about the refusal coverage and overall population coverage during the polio campaign last week.

Polio Campaign has been started in District Mardan with its full zeal and zest.

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan alongwith Dr. Ishaq LHW Program and Dr. Sabahat Chairman IPC rendered a joint visit early in the morning to TB Hospital Baghdada where Polio Team Assemblage was underway. After the successful deployment of the Polio Teams the joint visit of District Health Department was extended to different UCs where high number of refusals are present and micro plans of different deployed teams were thoroughly checked.
ضلع مردان میں پولیو مہم پورے جوش و خروش سے شروع کر دی گئی ہے۔

ڈاکٹر جاوید اقبال ڈی ایچ او مردان نے ڈاکٹر اسحاق ایل ایچ ڈبلیو پروگرام اور ڈاکٹر صباحت چیئرمین آئی پی سی کے ہمراہ صبح سویرے ٹی بی ہسپتال بغدادہ کا مشترکہ دورہ کیا جہاں پولیو ٹیم کا اجتماع جاری تھا۔ پولیو ٹیموں کی کامیاب تعیناتی کے بعد ضلعی محکمہ صحت کے مشترکہ دورے کا دائرہ مختلف یوسیز تک بڑھایا گیا جہاں زیادہ تعداد میں انکاری موجود ہیں اور مختلف تعینات ٹیموں کے مائیکرو پلانز کو بخوبی چیک کیا گیا۔

Dr. Javed Iqbal District Health Officer Mardan rendered a visit to TDH Shahbaz ghari along with Dr. Ishaq Khan Coordinator LHWs at 1 pm this afternoon. All sections were supervised. Total 197 patients were provided services in OPD. 52 Labs and 23 ultrasounds were done. Cleanliness was good. DHO Mardan appreciated the efforts of Hospital Administration in improving multiple sections.
ڈاکٹر جاوید اقبال ڈسٹرکٹ ہیلتھ آفیسر مردان نے آج دوپہر ایک بجے ڈاکٹر اسحاق خان کوآرڈینیٹر ایل ایچ ڈبلیوز کے ہمراہ TDH شہباز گھری کا دورہ کیا۔ تمام سیکشنز کی نگرانی کی گئی۔ او پی ڈی میں کل 197 مریضوں کو خدمات فراہم کی گئیں۔ 52 لیبز اور 23 الٹراساؤنڈ کیے گئے۔ صفائی ستھرائی اچھی تھی۔ ڈی ایچ او مردان نے ہسپتال انتظامیہ کی متعدد شعبوں کو بہتر بنانے کی کوششوں کو سراہا۔

Dr. Mussadiq Coordinator Public Health paid a visit to THQ Takhtbhai. All units were functional. Ultrasound facilities for male patients and blood Bank has been functionalized.
ڈاکٹر مصدق کوآرڈینیٹر پبلک ہیلتھ نے ٹی ایچ کیو تخت بھائی کا دورہ کیا۔ تمام یونٹ فعال تھے۔ مرد مریضوں کے لیے الٹراساؤنڈ کی سہولیات اور بلڈ بینک کو فعال کر دیا گیا ہے۔

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan presided over a farewell gathering on the retirement of 3 Class IV Ajmal Khan Naib Qased, Riaz Khan Naib Qased and Liaqat Khan Naib Qased organized by Para-Medical Association District Mardan. On this occasion Fazal Qayum President and Sami ur Rahman General Secretary stated farewell remarks on the retirement of these employees. In the end Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan expressed his profound gratitude towards the services of these employees and wished them best of luck for their future. DHO Mardan also added that the services of these individuals will ever be remembered.

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan alongwith Dr. Rahat Coordinator P&D, Coordinator Public Health Dr Mussadiq and Dr. Ishaq Coordinator LHW Program rendered a joint visit to TDH Toru earlier today. All staff was present on their duty stations. DHO Mardan appreciated the cleanliness and professional attitude of the staff. Dr. Gohar Zaman MS Type D Toru was also appreciated by DHO Mardan for his hardwork and dedication. DHO Mardan instructed the administration of the hospital to shift X-Ray to another hall which is more accessible throughout the premises after it has been functionalized. DHO Mardan instructed a spacious room shall be allotted for ultrasound in the best public interest. DHO Mardan instructed MS Type D. Toru to direct the surgeons in order to launch minor surgeries like circumcision etc. Instructions were given by the DHO to match CRP Points with revenue component and indicate discrepancies if any. MS Type D. Hospital Toru was also instructed to launch male ultrasound.

Later in the afternoon, Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan alongwith the District Health Department Team consisting of Dr. Ikram Safi alongwith Dr. Rahat Coordinator P&D and Dr. Mansur Ayub Surveillance Officer extended their visit to RHC Manga where the top brass chaired another UCMO's meeting. DHO Stated that Distirict Health Department is ready for the upcoming campaign and will remain vigilant in terms of coverage of areas where there are more refusals of polio.

On the direction of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Health Minister Riaz Anwar DHO Mardan, Dr Javed Iqbal visited THQ Takhtbhai along with Deputy District Health Officer Ikram Safi. On this occasion, he ordered the immediate start of male ultrasound and X-ray and inaugurated the blood bank. While on this occasion MSTHQ Dr. Tariq. Deputy MS Dr. Imran Johar. Officer Khan, Senior Vice President of Mardan District Para Medical Association. Accounts Officer Mardan Anwar-ul-Haq. Salim Khan in charge of x-ray department, Account Officer Shahid Amin was also present.
On this occasion, DHO Mardan issued urgent orders to immediately start emergency X-ray and ultrasound in the hospital. Which has been officially started today and 85 x-rays and 50 ultrasounds have been done on the occasion. While a blood bank was inaugurated in the hospital for the convenience of the public and poor patients.
On this occasion, he issued a directive to the staff of the hospital to use all their abilities to provide all kinds of facilities to the poor and indigent patients. Because the service of deceitful humanity is exactly worship. And in this regard, we will not tolerate even the slightest negligence. Defaulting employees may be terminated or terminated. Because serving the people is our first utmost responsibility.

انہوں نےاس موقع پر ہسپتال میں فوری طور پر ایمرجنسی ایکسرے اور الٹرا ساونڈ شروع کرانے کی حصوصی احکامات جاری کی۔ جس کا باقاعدہ آغاز آج سے ہوچکا ہے اور موقع پر 85 ایکسرے اور 50 الٹراساؤنڈ کیا گیا ہیں۔ جبکہ عوام اور غریب مریضوں کی سہولت کے لئے ہسپتال میں بلڈ بینک کا افتتاح کیا۔
اس موقع پر انہوں نے ہسپتال کے ماتحت عملے کو حصوصی ہدایت جاری کی کہ غریب نادار مریضوں کو ہر قسم سہولیات فراہم کرانے کے لئے اپنی تمام تر صلاحیتیں بروئے کار لائیں۔ کیونکہ دھوکی انسانیت کی خدمت عین عبادت ہے۔ اور اس سلسلے میں زرا بھی کوتاہی برداشت نہیں کرینگے۔ کوتاہی کرنے والے ملازمین کو ملازمت یا کوتاہی چھوڑنا پڑے گا۔ کیونکہ عوام کی خدمت ہمارا فرض اولین ہیں۔

A meeting regarding Dengue Prevention and Control was held under the chairmanship of Capt. (R) Abdur Rehman Honorable Deputy Commissioner. The meeting was attended by all heads of line departments. Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan along with Dr. Ikram Safi Deputy DHO and Dr. Mussadiq Gul Coordinator Public Health were also present in the meeting, Dr. Mussadiq presented the overall situation of the district regarding dengue. It was decided that vigorous efforts be done in the areas where positive houses and containers of dengue are found. It was also discussed that the month of September is crucial for dengue outbreak. During this month all departments are to display preventive measures against dengue on billboards and flexes across the district. The meeting concluded with gratitude to all participants for their efforts of dengue prevention and control.
کیپٹن (ر) عبدالرحمن عزت مآب ڈپٹی کمشنر کی زیر صدارت ڈینگی سے بچاؤ اور کنٹرول کے حوالے سے اجلاس منعقد ہوا۔ اجلاس میں تمام شعبہ جات کے سربراہان نے شرکت کی۔ ملاقات میں ڈاکٹر جاوید اقبال ڈی ایچ او مردان کے ہمراہ ڈاکٹر اکرام صافی ڈپٹی ڈی ایچ او اور ڈاکٹر مصدق گل کوآرڈینیٹر پبلک ہیلتھ بھی موجود تھے، ڈاکٹر مصدق نے ڈینگی کے حوالے سے ضلع کی مجموعی صورتحال پیش کی۔ فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ جن علاقوں میں ڈینگی کے مثبت مکانات اور کنٹینرز پائے جاتے ہیں وہاں بھرپور کوششیں کی جائیں۔ اس بات پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا کہ ستمبر کا مہینہ ڈینگی کی وباء کے لیے انتہائی اہم ہے۔ اس ماہ کے دوران تمام محکمے ضلع بھر میں بل بورڈز اور فلیکسز پر ڈینگی سے بچاؤ کے لیے احتیاطی تدابیر آویزاں کریں گے۔ ڈینگی کی روک تھام اور کنٹرول کی کوششوں پر تمام شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے اجلاس کا اختتام ہوا۔

Later in the afternoon, Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan inspected all the government vehicles under the control of DHO. Superintendent DHO Office was instructed to perform essential repairs of all the vehicles with pending maintenance and repair work to ensure effective and efficient health service delivery.
بعد از دوپہر ڈاکٹر جاوید اقبال ڈی ایچ او مردان نے ڈی ایچ او کے زیر کنٹرول تمام سرکاری گاڑیوں کا معائنہ کیا۔ سپرنٹنڈنٹ ڈی ایچ او آفس کو ہدایت کی گئی کہ وہ تمام گاڑیوں کی ضروری مرمت کریں جن کی دیکھ بھال اور مرمت کا کام زیر التوا ہے تاکہ صحت کی موثر فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

All Key Point Indicators like staff attendance, medicine availability and cleanliness of the health facility including all the all the equipment were properly checked. All the challenges faced by the health facility administration were also discussed in detail.

Overall situation of the district health facilities was discussed. Other indicators like staff attendance and overall cleaning of the health facility and equipment were also discussed.

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan Chaired a meeting regarding Polio Eradication campaign early in the morning today. All coordinators of all sections attended the meeting including COMnet staff. Different challenges faced by the staff of Expanded Program Immunization were discussed in detail. No. Of Polio refusals and causes of the refusals were also discussed. Dr Imtiaz Coordinator EPI presented different strategies to overcome these challenges. Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan promised to extend his full support.

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan presided over a monthly review meeting of TDH Lund Khwar. Dr. Mussadiq Gul Coordinator Public Health/MS TDH Lund Khwar presented all the statistics of the hospital. Superintendent DHO Office and Accounts Officer DHO Office also attended the meeting. All Key Point Indicators of the past month like staff availability, medicine availability and cleanliness of the health facility were discussed in detail. Later in the afternoon, Dr. Javed Iqbal presided over a Monthly Review Meeting of all the PCMC/HMC Health Facility In-charges. Coordinators of all vertical programs, Superintendent DHO Office, Accounts Officer and Independent Monitoring Unit IMU Staff were also present in the meeting. All Key Point Indicators like staff absentia, medicine stock top-up and cleanliness of the equipment and overall health facility were discussed in detail. All other pending inquiries were also discussed. Dr. Mussadiq Gul Coordinator Public Health added concluding remarks of Prevention and Control in the district that District Mardan is going through the peak season for nourishing larvae, For which we have to be extremely vigilant to prevent dengue outbreak, for this purpose the In-charges have to properly check microplans submitted by LHWs while District Health Office will extend their full support to improve the coverage of far flung non-covered areas by LHWs.

Both the top brass of District Health Department Mardan also checked OPD Register and EPI register for patient and vaccination record. Other challenges were faced by the health facility administration were also checked in detail.

Medicine stock was available in sufficient quantity. Only antibiotics were short of stock.Medical technician was directed to get fresh indent from DHO main medicine store.

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan chaired a Review Meeting of THQ Takhtbhai and TDH Toru. The meeting was attended by all coordinators of the District Health Office including all technical staff. All Key Point Indicators KPIs like HR Presence, Medicine Availability and Cleanliness of the hospitals were discussed in detail. During the meeting other challenges being faced by the hospital administration and pending inquiries of the employees were also discussed in detail. During the meeting Dr. Mussadiq Gul Coordinator Public Health also discussed the Control and Prevention activities regarding fever. It was added in the meeting that due to the current monsoon season it is a dire need to stay vigilant in terms of surveillance for all vector bourne diseases with Dengue Fever in particular.

Administration of the health facility discussed different challenges faced at the health facility level with the DHO. DHO Mardan also instructed the administration of the health facility to pay attention to detail towards other Key Point Indicators KPIs like cleanliness of the health facility, stock availability and proper maintenance of medical equipment.

Dr. Javed Iqbal DHO Mardan along with Dr. Ikram Deputy DHO Mardan, Dr. Hamza DMS DHQ Mardan and Dr. Taj DMS DHQ Mardan rendered a joint visit to Central Jail Mardan. The purpose of the visit was to establish a certain mechanism which could help District Health Department Mardan to effectively report any cases of communicable diseases. A decision was taken that District Jail Admistration will provide infrastructure for the establishment of minor OT where injury cases or surgeries with local anaesthesia could be performed. During the visit it was also decided that District Jail Administration shall provide infrastructure for the establishment of X-Ray services where District Health Department will extend their full technical and manegerial support for the smooth running of this facility. Distirct Health Department will also provide an expert team of Doctors in the next week to District Central Jail Mardan where they will set up a medical camp for which Mobile X-Ray van will be provided in order to help the team of experts in diagnosing suspected cases for Tuberculosis and Severe Acute Respiratory Infections. The team of experts will also test the inmates for Dengue fever and will provide medical assistance in case of any positive patient for communicable disease. The medical camp would also help in disseminating important information regarding prevention and control of Dengue Fever to the inmates.
ڈاکٹر جاوید اقبال ڈی ایچ او مردان نے ڈاکٹر اکرام ڈپٹی ڈی ایچ او مردان، ڈاکٹر حمزہ ڈی ایم ایس ڈی ایچ کیو مردان اور ڈاکٹر تاج ڈی ایم ایس ڈی ایچ کیو مردان کے ہمراہ سینٹرل جیل مردان کا مشترکہ دورہ کیا۔ اس دورے کا مقصد ایک مخصوص میکانزم قائم کرنا تھا جس کی مدد سے ضلعی محکمہ صحت مردان کو وبائی امراض کے کسی بھی کیس کی مؤثر رپورٹ کرنے میں مدد مل سکے۔ ایک فیصلہ لیا گیا کہ ڈسٹرکٹ جیل انتظامیہ معمولی او ٹی کے قیام کے لیے بنیادی ڈھانچہ فراہم کرے گی جہاں چوٹ کے کیسز یا مقامی اینستھیزیا کے ساتھ سرجری کی جا سکتی ہے۔ دورے کے دوران یہ فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ ڈسٹرکٹ جیل انتظامیہ ایکس رے سروسز کے قیام کے لیے بنیادی ڈھانچہ فراہم کرے گی جہاں ضلعی محکمہ صحت اس سہولت کو آسانی سے چلانے کے لیے اپنی مکمل تکنیکی اور انتظامی معاونت فراہم کرے گا۔ محکمہ صحت آئندہ ہفتے ڈاکٹروں کی ایک ماہر ٹیم ڈسٹرکٹ سینٹرل جیل مردان کو بھی فراہم کرے گا جہاں وہ ایک میڈیکل کیمپ لگائے گا جس کے لیے موبائل ایکسرے وین فراہم کی جائے گی تاکہ مشتبہ کیسز کی تشخیص میں ماہرین کی ٹیم کی مدد کی جا سکے۔ تپ دق اور شدید سانس کے انفیکشن کے لیے۔ ماہرین کی ٹیم ڈینگی بخار کے لیے قیدیوں کا ٹیسٹ بھی کرے گی اور کسی بھی بیماری کے مثبت مریض کی صورت میں طبی امداد فراہم کرے گی۔ میڈیکل کیمپ قیدیوں کو ڈینگی بخار سے بچاؤ اور کنٹرول کے حوالے سے اہم معلومات فراہم کرنے میں بھی مددگار ثابت ہوگا۔
