افغانستان سے میڈیکل ڈگری یافتہ طلبہ کے حق میں پشاور ہائیکورٹ کا بڑا فیصلہ
پشاور ہائی کورٹ نے افغانستان سے میڈیکل کی ڈگری حاصل کرنے والے طلبہ کے حق میں بڑا فیصلہ سناتے ہوئے افغان یونیورسٹیوں کو ڈی لسٹ کرنے کا نوٹیفکیشن غیر قانونی قرار دے دیا ہے۔

عدالت نے 22 متاثرہ طلبہ کی درخواست منظور کرتے ہوئے انہیں نیشنل رجسٹریشن ایگزامینیشن یعنی این آر ای امتحان میں بیٹھنے کی اجازت دے دی ہے جبکہ عدالت نے متعلقہ طلبہ کو ہاؤس جاب کے لیے پی آر ایم پی سرٹیفکیٹس جاری کرنے کا بھی حکم دیا ہے۔

عدالتی فیصلے میں واضح کیا گیا ہے کہ پی ایم ڈی سی نے 8 ستمبر 2025 کو افغانستان کی مختلف میڈیکل یونیورسٹیوں کو ڈی لسٹ کیا تھا اور اس ایگزیکٹو فیصلے کا اطلاق ماضی سے نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔

فیصلے میں مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ درخواست گزاروں نے اپنی ڈگریاں تعلیمی اداروں کے ڈی لسٹ ہونے سے پہلے ہی مکمل کر لی تھیں اس لیے وہ تمام مراعات کے حقدار ہیں۔

پشاور ہائی کورٹ نے اپنے فیصلے میں پی ایم ڈی سی کو یاد دہانی کرائی ہے کہ وہ قانون کے مطابق بیرون ملک سے فارغ التحصیل پاکستانی طلبہ کا سال میں دو بار امتحان لینے کی پابند ہے۔

*Important Notice for MDCAT-2026 Candidates*

Dear Students,
The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) has issued an important directive regarding MDCAT-2026:

*1. Mandatory Biometric Verification*
All candidates appearing in MDCAT-2026 will be required to undergo biometric verification on the examination day.

*2. Requirement for Candidates Below 18 Years of Age*
Candidates who are under 18 years of age must possess a valid *Juvenile Registration Card / Smart Card for Minors* issued by NADRA prior to MDCAT-2026. Candidates without this card will not be permitted to appear in examination.

*Note:* Possession of a valid Juvenile Registration Card is a prerequisite for participation in MDCAT-2026 for all candidates under 18.

WAR-AFFECTED PAKISTANI STUDENTS MAY APPEAR IN NEB EXAMINATION


Islamabad, April 7th, 2026: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially announced that the National Examination Board (NEB) examinations will be conducted on 16, May 2026.

The examination is going to be conducted at Rawalpindi. The portal for the registration of the students will be live from 9th April to 24 April 2026. All eligible candidates are advised to complete their registration within the prescribed timeline once the portal becomes active.

PM&DC conducts the NEB twice a year to assess the knowledge, clinical skills, and professional competence of students who have partially completed medical or dental education abroad and seek transfer/admission in Pakistan. The exam will be computer-based and consist of multiple-choice questions.

Pakistani Students enrolled in foreign medical or dental institutions who have completed two years of study and reached at least the third year are eligible to take the NEB. Passing the exam is required for transfer and admission into Pakistani institutions for the next academic year.

This is also an opportunity for students who are currently pursuing their medical and dental education in Iran to appear in the examination. Such candidates are advised to complete the required codal formalities and ensure timely registration with PM&DC.

Furthermore, PM&DC has advised students and parents considering admission to foreign medical and dental colleges to exercise caution. The Council emphasized that the safety and well-being of students remain paramount, and that careful consideration should be given to both security concerns and long-term academic prospects.
