The medical relief mission has departed for Buner in collaboration with Kashmir Orphans Relief Trust (KORT), AJ&K Health Department, and PMA MirpurPakistan Medical Association Mirpur .

Yesterday, a dedicated team of volunteer doctors, equipped with essential medicines and medical supplies, was dispatched to Buner. The entire logistical support for this mission was generously provided by KORT.

PMA District Mirpur extends heartfelt gratitude to Chairman KORTChoudhary Mohammed Akhtar, for his initiative and strong contribution; to Health Minister Dr. Nisar Ansar Abdali; a Director General Health Farooq Ahmed Noor and MS Div HQ Teaching hospital Dr amir Aziz for their invaluable support in making this noble cause officially possible.

Special thanks are also extended to Vice President PMA Mirpur, Dr. Mahroof Subani, and information Secretary PMA mirpur Dr. Bin-e-Amin for their dedicated efforts.

یومِ استحصالِ کشمیر – ڈاکٹر اعجاز احمد، صدر PMA ضلع میرپور کا پیغام

بطور صدر پاکستان میڈیکل ایسوسی ایشن (PMA) ضلع میرپور، میں آج 5 اگست – یومِ استحصالِ کشمیر کے موقع پر مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر کے مظلوم عوام کے ساتھ مکمل یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتا ہوں۔

یہ دن ہمیں یاد دلاتا ہے کہ 5 اگست 2019 کو بھارت نے ایک غیر قانونی اور جابرانہ اقدام کے ذریعے کشمیریوں کی خصوصی آئینی حیثیت ختم کر دی، اور ان کے بنیادی انسانی، قانونی اور جمہوری حقوق پامال کیے۔ یہ عمل نہ صرف بین الاقوامی قوانین کی کھلی خلاف ورزی ہے بلکہ دنیا کے ضمیر کے لیے بھی ایک بڑا امتحان ہے۔

ہم ان تمام کشمیری بھائیوں اور بہنوں کو سلام پیش کرتے ہیں جو کئی دہائیوں سے قربانیاں دے رہے ہیں اور آج بھی ظلم و جبر کے خلاف سینہ سپر ہیں۔ ان کی استقامت، ان کا حوصلہ اور ان کی جدوجہد پوری انسانیت کے لیے مشعلِ راہ ہے۔

‎بطور کشمیری، ہم وزیراعظم پاکستان، صدر پاکستان اور افواجِ پاکستان کے شکر گزار ہیں
‎کہ وہ ہر فورم پر ہماری آواز بنے ہوئے ہیں۔ چاہے وہ سفارتی میدان ہو، سیاسی پلیٹ فارم ہو یا اخلاقی حمایت کا پہلو—پاکستان نے ہمیشہ کشمیری عوام کا ساتھ دیا ہے۔

‎ہم مشکور ہیں کہ پاکستان نے نہ صرف مسئلہ کشمیر کو زندہ رکھا بلکہ عالمی ضمیر کو جھنجھوڑنے میں بھی اپنا بھرپور کردار ادا کیا۔
‎ہر کشمیری دل سے دعا گو ہے کہ یہ حمایت جاری رہے، اور ایک دن کشمیر آزادی کی نعمت سے سرفراز ہو

بطور میڈیکل کمیونٹی، ہمارا اخلاقی اور انسانی فریضہ ہے کہ ہم ان کے زخموں پر مرہم رکھیں، ہر سطح پر ان کی حمایت جاری رکھیں، اور عالمی ضمیر کو جھنجھوڑنے کے لیے اپنی آواز بلند کریں۔

ہم دعا گو ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کشمیریوں کو جلد آزادی اور امن کی نعمت عطا فرمائے، اور ہمیں حق و سچ کا ساتھ دینے کی توفیق بخشے۔

Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), District Mirpur, and International Emergency Team UK. (IET-UK) . signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the establishment and enhancement of emergency medical services across Mirpur Division.

The MoU was formally signed by Chaudhry Mehrban Sadiq Chairman IET-UK, and Dr. Dr Ijaz Mehmood, General Secretary PMA Mirpur.

The signing ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries and healthcare leaders, including:
• Prof. Faisal Bashir, Principal MBBS-MC
• Associate Prof. DrEjaz Ahmed , President PMA Mirpur .
• Dr. Rauf Nishtar , Drawing and Disbursing Officer, MBBS-MC
• Dr. Awais Zahid, Joint Secretary PMA & Medico-legal Surgeon
• Mr. Kamran Farid, President, Young Hands Pakistan
• Mr. Salman, Director, Muslim Hands
• Mr. Qamar Atta

Dr. Ejaz Ahmed, President PMA Mirpur, warmly welcomed the guests and extended heartfelt gratitude to Chairman IET-UK Ch. Mehrban Sadiq for his valuable time and for the tireless humanitarian efforts of IET-UK in supporting emergency healthcare services in Pakistan. He especially acknowledged IET-UK’s remarkable achievements in Punjab, where emergency services were successfully established in coordination with the Punjab Government — a model now serving as inspiration for replication in other regions.

Together, PMA Mirpur and IET-UK aim to bring sustainable improvements to emergency care infrastructure, capacity building, and training in Mirpur Division.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Ch. Mehrban Sadiq expressed confidence that this MoU would prove to be a milestone in transforming emergency services in Mirpur. He appreciated the consistent efforts of PMA Mirpur to uplift healthcare standards in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and conveyed hope that this collaboration will continue to grow, strengthen, and make a tangible impact in saving lives.
