Hope and Transformation against Poverty (HTP) is of non-Governmental organization which is working for the socio economic empowerment of the rural peoples and striving the poverty alleviation through implication of different development program in th Hope and Transformation against Poverty (HTP) is of non-Governmental organization which is working for the socio economic empowerment of the rural peoples and striving the poverty alleviation through implication of different development program in the rural areas It was established in January 2006, The organization registered under Society act 1860 Government of Sindh,Pakistan. The Organization has been working, since its inception, on different sectors of social development focusing on Education, Health, Agriculture, women development, youth problems and environment for the betterment of the poor and needy peoples of the area, through their active participation and the help of various donors. The main objective of the establishment of organization is involve and assist them in development process also research is the important tool for to knows the root causes of the problems which help in sustainable development in the programmatic areas. This organization is based on the code of conduct that it is non-profit, non-sectarian and works with all the poor without any discrimination of caste and creed, Gender and area biases.

๐ŸŒŸ Empowering Educators for a Brighter Future! ๐ŸŒŸ
A successful 3-day training workshop on Non Formal Education NFE recently concluded in Mirpur Khas and Jamshoro, bringing together facilitators from 60 NFE centers.
The sessions focused on modern Pedagogies and Package A textbook content, with participants engaging in dynamic activities and presentations.

An introductory meeting of IPs of Phase-II of NFEC establishment held today on 3.2.2026 in the DEO literacy office Mirpurkhas.

A District-Level Non-Formal Education (NFE) Implementing Partners (IPs) meeting was held at the DC Office, Umerkot. The meeting was chaired by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Umerkot, Mr. Javeed Ahmed Dahri.
Mr. Shamasuddin Rathore, District Project Coordinator NFE Umerkot, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the progress of Phase I and Phase II Non-Formal Education centers. He highlighted key achievements, ongoing activities, and implementation challenges faced during the ex*****on of the project.
Representative of Hope and Transformation Against Poverty (HTP) was also present and actively participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, the ADC appreciated the efforts of all Implementing Partners and assured full facilitation and support from the district administration to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the NFE project. He emphasized collective efforts to successfully target and enroll Out-of-School Children (OOSC) across District Umerkot.

Strengthening Partnerships for Educating Out-of-School Children | ALP Phase II โ€“ Sindh

In a continued effort to address the challenge of out-of-school children in Sindh, the Directorate of Literacy & Non-Formal Education (DL&NFE), Government of Sindh, has partnered with 30 Non-Government Organizations under Phase II to establish 1,420 Non-Formal Education (NFE) Centers across six districts of the province.

To formally orient Phase II implementation partners, a two-day Orientation Workshop on the Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP) was organized on 08โ€“09 January 2026 at Public School Hyderabad, in collaboration with JICAโ€“AQAL III. The workshop provided comprehensive orientation on partner roles and functions, ALP approaches, NFE standards, monitoring mechanisms, center management, and the Non-Formal Education Management Information System (NFEMIS).

The workshop was inaugurated by Director NFE, Mr. Abdul Jabbar Mari, who delivered a thoughtful and effective address highlighting the importance of strong partnerships, shared accountability, and collective commitment. He also engaged with partner organizations by addressing their queries and encouraging open dialogue to strengthen implementation at the field level. Officials from DL&NFE, heads of partner NGOs, and JICA representatives from Lahore and Islamabad actively contributed to the sessions.

The orientation concluded on a highly positive note, reaffirming a joint resolve to work proactively and collaboratively so that no child in Sindh is left uneducated.

Stepping into a new era of education, a contract signing ceremony between Hope and Transformation Against Poverty and the Directorate of Literacy and Non-Formal Education (DL&NFE), Government of Sindh, was held on 29 December 2025. The contract was signed by Ms Shahnaz Begum, President of Hope and Transformation Against Poverty. Under this agreement, the organization will establish 80 Non-Formal Education Centers in the districts of Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, and Jamshoro, aiming to reduce the illiteracy rate in these districts.
