Every 25th September, the World Pharmacists Day is observed globally to highlight the importance of the pharmacy profession in the healthcare delivery system towards ensuring safe, effective and accessible delivery of medicine to all.
The Punjab Healthcare Commission acknowledges pharmacists as an integral component of the healthcare system. Its minimum service delivery standards (MSDS) include Management of Medication as one of the 10 functional areas endorsing the pharmacists as the guardians of medication.
