World TB Day on 24th March.

Tuberculosis is a major health challenge in Pakistan as Pakistan stands 5th among the 30 High TB burden countries. In this regard as per its commitment to SDGs, Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department is providing free of cost diagnostic & treatment services for TB at 558 public healthcare facilities throughout Punjab including:

It is a treatable disease so if you or anyone in your circle exhibit the following symptoms :
1. Persistent cough for more than 2 weeks
2. Fever at night
3. Weight loss
4. Blood stained sputum
or TB History in family or close contact.
Please avail the 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 facility of diagnosis & treatment being provided at all DHQs, THQs and RHCs through Provincial TB Control Program, Punjab of P&SHD.

The theme of World TB Day 2023 is- “𝐘𝐞𝐬! 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐁” and by Grace of God, InshAllah We will end TB from this country.
