A Farewell to PhysioPlus – Celebrating Four Incredible Years!

Today marks the final day of PhysioPlus at Afridi Medical Complex and Teaching Hospital. This remarkable journey began on January 1st, 2021, and comes to a close in December 2024, wrapping up four unforgettable years of dedicated service, learning, and growth.

A special thanks goes to Dr. Waleed Khan, PT, whose expertise and vision elevated our services and introduced the Student Certification Program at PhysioPlus. This program has been a game-changer, providing students with one-month certifications in clinical techniques, management, and career counseling.

We fondly remember our first batch of students from Sarhad and Iqra University, as well as our last batch of 10 students from Cecos University. Students from diverse institutions trusted us to guide them, and we are proud to have contributed to their skills and careers. Thank you, Dr. Waleed Khan, and all the students who believed in us and made PhysioPlus a center of excellence!

Female patient name XYZ age 60+ came to physioplus clinic with complain of low back pain and leg on examination first investigation of choice X-ray Lumber spine PA lateral has done and subjective HX patient done lumber spine surgery procedure unknown done in 2010 after surgery pain intensity is still the same on Examination patient Flexion in standing and extension are painful SLR was UpTo 60 on xray there is reduced space in L4-L5 Foot Drop Muscle tightness DM +ive and pars intraoculars fracture.

Patient Refer to Neurospine surgeon which recommend physical therapy for 2 week in Flexion protocol.

On November 6, PhysioPlus Clinic held a certification ceremony for a student who had completed their one-month training. We are grateful to our distinguished guests, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Orakzai (Bariyatric Surgeon, AMC), Dr. Bakti Mahmood (Medical Specialist, AMC), Dr. Waleed Khan (PT), and Dr. Tariq Hameed (Dental Surgeon), for joining us in the ceremony. Dr. Mushtaq Orakzai presented the certificate to the student, and Give his speech about the importance of physiotherpy in post opreative care ,and Dr. Abdulaziz (CEO, PhysioPlus) presented the appreciation awards to Dr. Mahmood, Dr. Khan, and Abdul Mateen MD, AMC.
