It's great to hear that Dr. Riaz Anwar, the honorable Health advisor for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), visited Nasurullah Khan Babar Memorial Hospital in Peshawar. During his visit, he had the opportunity to meet with the Hospital Management System (HMS) staff, who are operating under the auspices of the Project Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU).

Dr. Riaz Anwar was briefed about the equipment that PMIU had provided to the hospital, and it's commendable to know that all the equipment is not only installed but also fully functional. This indicates that the resources allocated by PMIU have been put to good use, benefiting the hospital and its patients.

The honorable advisor also acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of PMIU. He recognized that PMIU's contributions have played a significant role in advancing the secondary health system in the province of KPK. This kind of support and investment in healthcare infrastructure is crucial for improving the quality of healthcare services and ensuring the well-being of the population

• محکمہ منصوبہ بندی کے حکام کی جانب سے ان منصوبوں پر اب تک کی پیشرفت اور دیگر متعلقہ امور پر بریفنگ. دیگر صوبوں کی نسبت خیبر پختونخوا میں فارن فنڈڈ پراجیکٹس پر عملدرآمد کی صورتحال بہتر ہے، بریفنگ
• وزیراعلی کا ان منصوبوں پر عملدرآمد کی مجموعی صورتحال پر اطمینان کا اظہار۔ متعلقہ حکام کو ان منصوبوں پر عملدرآمد کی رفتار کو مزید بہتر بنانے اور ان کی بروقت تکمیل کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے اقدامات کی ہدایت۔
• انتظامی سیکرٹریز اپنے اپنے محکموں کے تحت ڈونر فنڈڈ پراجیکٹس پر پیشرفت کا باقاعدگی سے جائزہ لیں، اگر کسی منصوبے پر عملدرآمد میں مسائل ہوں تو انتظامی سیکرٹریز ان مسائل کی نشاندہی کرکے محکمہ منصوبہ بندی کو بروقت آگاہ کریں، محمد اعظم خان
• فارن فنڈڈ پراجیکٹس عوامی مفاد کے اہم منصوبے ہیں ان پر عملدرآمد میں غیر ضروری تاخیر قابل قبول نہیں، کرم تنگی ڈیم پراجیکٹ انتہائی اہمیت کا حامل ہے، اس پر عملدرآمد کی رفتار کو تیز کرنے کے لئے متعلقہ حکام کا خصوصی اجلاس بلایا جائے، ضم اضلاع میں انفراسٹرکچر ڈیویلپمنٹ پراجیکٹس کی بروقت تکمیل پر خصوصی توجہ دی جائے، محمد اعظم خان

Project Management & Implementation Unit, Secondary Healthcare Revamping in KP has been established to uplift and restructure the Secondary Healthcare Network of the Province. As part of its mandate, the project undertook the large-scale revamping of District Headquarters Hospitals, and today, PMIU spearheads the drive for provision of quality healthcare services in the province.
The revamping project has been working on an 8-part agenda to increase functionality of DHQ hospitals.

The provincial caretaker cabinet approved recommendations from the Health Department to continue and improve the health card program in the province.

Dr. Riaz Anwar, the Health Advisor, presented these recommendations in an important press briefing for the public.
