ایک رات کھانے کے وقت میری والدہ نے سالن اور جلی ہوئی روٹی میرے والد کے آگے رکھ دی۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ میں والد کے ردِعمل کا انتظار کرتا رہا کہ شاید وہ غصّے کا اظہار کرینگے لیکن انہوں نے اِنتہائی سکون سے کھانا کھایا اور ساتھ ہی مجھ سے پوچھا کہ آج سکول میں میرا دن کیسا گزرا مجھے یاد نہیں کہ میں نے کیا جواب دیا.
لیکن۔۔۔۔۔۔۔اُسی دوران میری والدہ نے روٹی جل جانے کی معذرت کی.
میرے والد نے کہا کوئی بات نہیں بلکہ مجھے تو یہ روٹی کھا کر مزا آیا.
اُس رات جب میں اپنے والد کو شب بخیر کہنے اُن کے کمرے میں گیا تو اُن سے اِس بارے میں پوچھ ہی لیا کہ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ کیا واقعی آپ کو جلی ہوئی روٹی کھا کر مزا آیا؟
انہوں نے پیار سے مجھے جواب دیا بیٹا ایک جلی ہوئی روٹی کچھ نقصان نہیں پہنچاتی مگر تلخ ردعمل اور بد زبانی انسان کے جذبات کو مجروح کر دیتے ہے۔۔۔۔۔۔۔
میرے بچے یہ دُنیا بے شمار ناپسندیدہ چیزوں اور لوگوں سے بھری پڑی ہے، میں بھی کوئی بہترین یا مکمل انسان نہیں ہوں اور میں یہ سمجھتا ہوں کہ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ہمارے ارد گرد کے لوگوں سے بھی غلطی ہو سکتی ہے ایک دوسرے کی غلطیوں کو درگزر کرنا، رشتوں کو بخوبی نبھانا اعلیٰ ظرفی کا مظاہرہ کرنا ہے
