8. صبح کے وقت گاڑی میں سفر سے گریز کریں۔

GOOD NEWS IN THE REALM OF MENTAL HEALTHCARE
Starting with first episode psychosis should proceed towards similar guidelines for other major mental health disorders. PIPH was its community engagement partner to engage traditional healers in its prelude to community based research.

Early intervention in psychosis services will be provided to 700 patients in Pakistan and Sri Lanka

2nd NIHR Workshop Empowers Regional Academia

Peshawar, April 24–25, 2025
IMPACT (York University UK) in collaboration with the Bradford District Care Trust (UK), Aga Khan University and Khyber Medical University successfully convened the second round of the NIHR Workshop in a very interactive and skill based manner. This two-day event focused on strengthening Research Governance and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality-assured research, clinical trials, and community interventions.
The workshop brought together academic and healthcare professionals from across the region, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to implement high-standard research practices.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Vice Chancellor KMU appreciated the dedication of the organizing partners, resource persons and participants.
“This initiative marks a pivotal step toward nurturing a robust research culture in the region. KMU is fully committed to supporting the practical implementation of this capacity-building In-sha-Allah, to even greater heights.”
