This was not short of a miracle happened at QuaideAzam international hospital islamabad yesterday... 80plus cardiac patient presented with severe respiratory distress and stridor due to huge goitre that gone retrosternal into chest and compressed tracheal lumen to a slit , during surgery she had complications but eventually recovered and see the joy during postoperative round .... This gives immense joy and happiness and a real asset for the surgeon... Alhamdulillah

Miracles do happen and this is one ... 80 years old cardiac patient started severe respiratory distress due to her very long period multinodular goitre that gone retrosternal and pressing on trachea ... during surgery patient had complications which recovered and see the joy of the patient at the end during next day in room after surgery.... real joy and asset for a surgeon .. Alhamdulillah

Performed 12 cases of thyroid surgery which included difficult and complicated cases of cancer at Quaid e Azam International Hospital Islamabad , a state of the art health facility in the country..On Friday we saw 40 plus patients who came from very far flung areas of the country like Multan Faisalabad Chakwal Lahore Quetta and Azad Kashmir besides various districts of kpk... It was an amazing experience and we enjoyed the environment provided by the very caring administration of the hospital...Thank you all involved.
