Successful Conduction of 2-Day Mock Exam for FCPS Part-II & IMM Candidates
Organized by Department of Medicine, LRH & Pakistan Society of Physicians, facilitated by the office of the Associate Dean PGME.

📝 Department of Medicine, LRH and Pakistan Society of Physicians successfully conducted a 2-day Mock exam for FCPS Part - 2 and IMM candidates on 9th and 10th September, 2025 under the leadership of Associate Professor Dr. Atta Muhammad Khan (HoD, Department of Medicine, LRH) 🩺

A total of 36 candidates (IMM + Part ll) appeared in the exam.

Assistant Professor Dr. Riaz Khan Afridi, Associate Dean MTI-LRH, graced the occasion with his presence and distributed certificates among the distinguished examiners, organizers and participants.

We were also honored by the visit of Hospital Director, Medical Director, Chairman Medicine & Allied, and CPSP officials, who appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and expressed satisfaction over the quality and conduct of the exam.

The organizing Team led by Dr. Javed Miandad (Chief Resident Medical - C LRH) & Dr. Muhammad Yaseen Khan (Chief Resident Medical - A LRH) put all their efforts into conducting a high quality examination.
The organizing team consisted of Dr. Shahab Ali Khan, Dr. Mubasshir Khattak, Dr. Asad Khalil, Dr. Muhammad Abbas, Dr. Malaika Imran, Dr. Musawer Ibrar, Dr. Mehru Nisa Parvez and Dr. Usama Naseem. Well done to the entire team for their dedication in ensuring a high-quality mock exam experience!

The Medicine & allied Work place based assessment-WPBA committee visited the psychiatry department on 04-09-25. The committee comprising the following

The aim of the visit to give guidance to the department regarding the implementation of the work place based assessment..

DOPs was performed by Dr. Mansoor Ahmad.
And Mini-Cex was performed by Dr. Qazi Shahbaz mohyuddin

The ommittee observed all the process and give recommendations on it. The chairman psychiatry department, Dr. Fazal e rabbani, Dr. Mukhtiar azeemi, Dr. Israr Ahmad Khan RPC and all the senior residents were present during the visit.

The Emergency Medicine IMM MOCKS for residents was successfully conducted at the Learning Resource Centre, Emergency Department, Lady Reading Hospital. We are grateful to our dedicated faculty members —from surgery and allied and medicine and allied for serving as examiners, and to the ED team for their excellent organization.

This academic milestone was achieved under the leadership of Patron-in-Chief Dr. Tariq Hayat Khan Director Emergency department. Special thanks to the LRH administration for their continued support and facilitation.

The orientation session for the postgraduate residents, house Officers and rehab house Officers is successfully conducted on 27-08-2025. The brief overview and guidance regarding the postgraduate medical education and hospital rules and polices was given by the Dr. Riaz Ahmed Khan Afridi worthy Associate Dean PGME. The worthy Associate Dean PGME interected with the audience during the orientation session. At the end of the session the worthy Associate Dean PGME appreciated the efforts of the PGME team and high interest of the residents and HOs for actively participated in the orientation session.

The worthy Associate Dean PGME Dr. Riaz Ahmed Khan afridi presented him with a SHIELD, expressing appreciation for his dedication and commitment to the office. We thank him for his service and wish him well in his future endeavors."
