Radiology Technology
Affiliated with Khyber Medical University (KMU), Prime College ensures strong academic standards. Students will also receive hands-on clinical training at Prime Teaching Hospital, Mercy Teaching Hospital, and Kuwait Teaching Hospital, enabling them to gain real-world healthcare experience.

Inaugural ceremony of Prime College of Allied Health Sciences held
PESHAWAR:
The inaugural ceremony of Prime College of Allied Health Sciences (PCAHS) was held with great enthusiasm and academic spirit in Peshawar, marking a significant milestone in the promotion and strengthening of allied health education in the region.
The ceremony was attended by eminent academicians and healthcare leaders, reflecting the importance of allied health sciences in modern healthcare delivery. Prof. Dr. Zahoor Swati, Director Riphah Peshawar Campus, graced the occasion as a distinguished guest. In his address, he emphasized the expanding role of allied health professionals in supporting efficient, patient-centered healthcare systems and highlighted the need for quality education in this rapidly growing field.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Aman Khan, Principal PMC, spoke on the importance of academic collaboration and integrated health education to effectively address future healthcare challenges. He acknowledged the efforts of the management and appreciated the students for choosing PCAHS as their academic home, expressing confidence in their future professional contributions.
Prof. Dr. Hafeez-ur-Rahman, Dean PMC, also graced the ceremony. During the orientation session, he warmly welcomed the newly admitted students and appreciated Dr. Maqsood Ali Khan, Principal PCAHS, and his team for their untiring efforts in initiating and strengthening allied health sciences under the umbrella of the Prime Foundation. He noted that such initiatives are vital for producing competent healthcare professionals and improving overall health services.
Earlier, Dr. Maqsood Ali Khan, Principal Prime College of Allied Health Sciences, formally welcomed the guests and participants. He shared the vision and mission of PCAHS, focusing on excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practice. He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to producing skilled, ethical, and professionally competent allied health graduates to meet national and international healthcare needs.
The speakers expressed strong confidence that PCAHS would play a pivotal role in developing a highly trained allied health workforce for the healthcare sector.
The inaugural session was professionally conducted by Dr. Rizwan, Lecturer PCAHS, who served as the anchor and ensured the smooth and engaging flow of the ceremony.

January 1, 2026 — A prize distribution ceremony for MBBS 2nd Year (2025) was held at Peshawar Medical College (PMC) as part of an academic recognition initiative aimed at encouraging excellence among medical students. Prof. Dr. Shafiullah, Head of the ENT Department, Kuwait Teaching Hospital (KTH), distributed the prizes among the position holders.
According to the results, Arooba Nasir Khan achieved the 1st position, Fahad Jahanzeb secured the 2nd position and Laiba Khan secured the 3rd position in the MBBS 2nd Year examinations. In recognition of their academic achievements, the position holders were awarded sets of essential medical textbooks for the upcoming academic year.
The administration appreciated the dedication and hard work of the students and reiterated its commitment to promoting academic excellence through recognition and encouragement.
