ایک ساس ڈاکٹر کے پاس گئی اور اس نے ڈاکٹر کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ڈاکٹر صاحب کوئی ایسی دوا دیں
کہ اس مرتبہ میری بہو کا بیٹا ہی ہو،
دو بیٹیاں پہلے ہیں، اب تو بیٹا ہی ہونا چاہیے۔
ڈاکٹر نے جواب دیا،
میڈیکل سائنس میں ایسی کوئی دوائی نہیں ہے۔
‏ساس نے کہا کہ پھر کسی اور ڈاکٹر کا بتا دیں؟
ڈاکٹر نے کہا کہ آپ نے شاید بات غور سے نہیں سنی، میں نے یہ نہیں کہا کہ مجھے دوائی کا نام نہیں آتا۔ میں نے یہ کہا کہ میڈیکل سائنس میں ایسی کوئی دوائی نہیں ہے۔
اس موقع پر لڑکی کا سسر بولا کہ وہ فلاں لیڈی ڈاکٹر تو۔۔۔
‏ڈاکٹر نے بات کاٹتے ہوئے کہا کہ وہ جعلی ڈاکٹر ہوگا، اس طرح کے دعوے جعلی پیر، فقیر، حکیم، وغیرہ کرتے ہیں، سب فراڈ ہے یہ۔
اب لڑکی کے شوہر نے کہا کہ اس کا مطلب ہماری نسل پھر نہیں چلے گی؟
ڈاکٹر نے کہا کہ یہ نسل چلنا کیا ہوتا ہے؟
‏آپ کے جینز کا اگلی نسل میں ٹرانسفر ہونا ہی نسل چلنا ہے نا؟ تو یہ کام تو آپ کی بیٹیاں بھی کر دیں گی، بیٹا کیوں ضروری ہے؟
ویسے آپ بھی عام انسان ہیں۔ آپ کی نسل میں ایسی کیا بات ہے جو بیٹے کے ذریعے ہی لازمی چلنی چاہیے؟
سسر نے کہا کہ میں سمجھا نہیں؟
‏ڈاکٹر نے کہا کہ ساہیوال کی گائیوں کی ایک مخصوص نسل ہے جو دودھ زیادہ دیتی ہے۔ بالفرض اس نسل کی ایک گائے بچ جاتی ہے تو پریشان ہونا چاہیے کہ اس سے آگے نسل نہ چلی تو زیادہ دودھ دینے والی گائیوں کا خاتمہ ہو جائے گا۔ 🐮
طوطوں کی ایک مخصوص قسم باتیں کرتی ہے
‏بالفرض اس نسل کی ایک طوطی بچ جاتی ہے تو فکر ہونی چاہیے کہ اگر یہ بھی مر گئی تو اس نسل کا خاتمہ ہو جائے گا۔🦜
آپ لوگ عام انسان ہیں باقی چھ سات ارب کی طرح آخر آپ لوگوں میں ایسی کون سی خاص بات ہے؟
یہ بات سن کر سسر نے کہا کہ ڈاکٹرصاحب کوئی نام لینے والا بھی تو ہونا چاہیے۔
‏ڈاکٹر نے ان سے سوال کیا کہ آپ کے پَردادے کا کیا نام ہے؟ اس موقع پر سسر بس اتناکہہ سکا کہ وہ، میں، ہممممم، ہوں وہ۔۔۔۔
ڈاکٹر نے کہا کہ مجھے پتہ ہے آپ کو نام نہیں آتا، آپ کے پردادا کو بھی یہ ٹینشن ہو گی کہ میرا نام کون لے گا اور آج اُس کی اولاد کو اُس کا نام بھی پتہ نہیں.
‏ویسے آپ کے مرنے کے بعد آپ کا نام کوئی لے یا نہ لے۔ آپ کو کیا فرق پڑے گا؟ آپ کا نام لینے سے قبر میں پڑی آپ کی ہڈیوں کو کون سا سرور آئے گا

ایدھی صاحب مر گئے لیکن نام ابھی بھی زندہ ہے اور رہے گا۔
