✨ Day 2 Highlights – Laparoscopic Gynaecology Course ✨

Day 2 featured four live Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy procedures, expertly performed by our master trainers — Prof. Zarin, Dr. Imran Khan, Dr. Asma Ambareen, and Dr. Nisar Ahmed.

Participants had the opportunity to observe live surgical demonstrations at the Modular Operation Theatre, Khyber Teaching Hospital, gaining valuable real-time insights into advanced laparoscopic techniques.

The course concluded with a closing ceremony and certificate distribution, followed by closing remarks by the Chief Organizer, Dr. Asma Ambareen, appreciating the efforts of all involved. The event ended on a pleasant note with lunch.

✨ Day 1 Highlights – Laparoscopic Gynaecology Course ✨

The first day of the Laparoscopic Gynaecology Course at PGMI Clinical Skills Lab, Peshawar was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation.
The session commenced with a welcome note by Dr. Asma Ambareen, setting the tone for a productive academic day. This was followed by insightful lectures delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Imran and Prof. Dr. Zarin, covering key concepts in laparoscopic practice.
Participants remained actively engaged throughout the day, which concluded with hands-on laparoscopic simulation training, facilitated by Prof. Dr. Zarin, Dr. Zubair Shabbir Kahnazada, and Dr. Imran.

✨ Successful Pre-Conference Workshop – 2nd KMCCON ✨

The pre-conference workshop titled “From Data to Document: LaTeX & SPSS for Medical Researchers” was successfully conducted at the SDW Demo Room.
The session was led by Associate Professor Dr. Nisar Ahmed, who delivered an insightful and practical learning experience, guiding participants on transforming research data into well-structured scientific documents.
The workshop was facilitated by Prof. Zarin and Dr. Imran Khan, whose valuable support and expertise contributed significantly to the smooth ex*****on of the session.

✨Celebrating Two Years of Excellence…

LAP proudly celebrates two years since its inauguration on 26 February 2024, marking a journey defined by academic growth, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to advancing minimally invasive surgery education in Pakistan.

Under the leadership of Chairman Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zarin, and the dedicated executive team including Dr. Imran Khan, Dr. Nisar Ahmad, Dr. Syed Asad Maroof, Dr. Shahzeb Khan and Dr. Zia Ullah, LAP has rapidly evolved into a vibrant national platform for surgical education, collaboration, and skill development.

Over the past two years, LAP has achieved significant milestones. Our journey has also gained international recognition, including representation at the IFSO World Congress in Melbourne, where Dr. Zia Ullah received the Young IFSO Award, along with academic collaborations with international surgical bodies such as ALSGBI.
