*Lady Reading Hospital MTI leads Nutritional Care for Critically ill in a PSA-KPK Symposium*
In a significant stride toward enhancing critical care standards, the *Anesthesia Department and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Lady Reading Hospital-MTI Peshawar* in collaboration with the Pakistan Society of Anesthesiologists *PSA-KPK*, hosted a highly impactful one-day symposium titled
*Nutritional Support For Critically Ill, Addressing Challenges For Better Outcome*
The event, held on 23rd July 2025, addressed the vital yet often overlooked role of specialized nutrition in the recovery and survival of critically ill patients. Attended by 140 healthcare professionals, the symposium ignited enthusiastic engagement and underscored the importance of nutritional support in critically ill patients.
The symposium was graced by eminent dignitaries of LRH-MTI as Guests of Honour, including: Prof. Dr. Aamir Ghafoor HOD Nutrition Department LRH-MTI, Dr. Amir Muhammad Dean LRH-MTI, Dr. Zafar Mehmood Medical Director LRH-MTI, Dr Muhammad Abrar Hospital Director LRH-MTI, Dr. Riaz Afridi Associate Dean, LRH-MTI.
