A New Chapter for Minimally Invasive Surgery in Lahore 🇵🇰

I am humbled and proud to announce the successful completion of the first Total Laparoscopic Whipple Procedure performed by our team in Lahore at Jinnah Hospital.

The Whipple procedure (Pancreaticoduodenectomy) is widely regarded as one of the most complex operations in GI surgery. Transitioning this entirely to a laparoscopic (keyhole) approach offers patients the benefits of less pain, faster recovery, and reduced scarring—but it requires extreme precision and advanced surgical expertise.
This milestone is a testament to the evolving landscape of specialized healthcare in Pakistan. A huge thank you to the Department of Surgery at Allama Iqbal Medical College/Jinnah Hospital for the collaboration and the excellent anesthesia and nursing teams.
