!ہمارے شہداء ، ہمارا فخر
خیبر پولیس شہداء کی لازوال قربانیوں
کو خراج تحسین پیش کرنے کے لیے پولیس لائن خیبر میں یوم شہداء پولیس کے موقع پر فرنٹیئر فاؤنڈیشن کی طرف سے بلڈ ڈونیشن کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ اس جذبہ ایثار سے بھرپور کیمپ میں خیبر پولیس کے افسران اور جوانوں نے بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیتے ہوئے خون کے عطیات پیش کیے۔
ڈسٹرکٹ پولیس آفیسر خیبر رائے مظہر اقبال نے کیمپ کا دورہ کیا اور سب سے پہلے خود خون عطیہ کرکے مہم کا باقاعدہ آغاز کیا۔ اس موقع پر ان کا کہنا تھا شہداء نے اپنے آج کو ہمارے کل کے لیے قربان کیا۔ ان کی قربانیوں کا کوئی نعم البدل نہیں، مگر ان کی یاد میں خون عطیہ کرنا ہماری طرف سے ایک چھوٹا سا عملی خراج ہے۔
ڈی پی او رائے مظہر اقبال نے خون دینے والے افسران و اہلکاروں کے جذبے کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ اقدام صرف ایک طبی ضرورت نہیں بلکہ شہداء کی قربانیوں سے جڑی روحانی وابستگی اور عوام کی خدمت کے جذبے کا تسلسل ہے۔
یاد رہے کہ 4 اگست ملک بھر میں یوم شہداء پولیس کے طور پر منایا جاتا ہے تاکہ اُن بہادر سپوتوں کو یاد رکھا جائے جنہوں نے اپنے فرض کی ادائیگی میں جامِ شہادت نوش کیا اور وطن کے امن و سلامتی کی خاطر اپنا لہو بہایا

پولیس اہلکاروں اور شہریوں نے بڑھ چڑھ کر خون کا عطیہ دیا۔
