Kuwait Teaching Hospital Kuwait Teaching Hospital is one of the leading teaching hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa It is located on the main university road across abdara chowk.

Kuwait Teaching Hospital Peshawar was established in 1983 and was governed by Kuwait Red Crescent Society. In September 2005 an agreement was executed between the governing body of the hospital in Kuwait and Peshawar Medical College for the transfer of management in order to convert this hospital in to a teaching facility. Kuwait Teaching Hospital is a 250 bedded charity hospital with all major & some of the minor specialties of medical disciplines. It is attached to Peshawar Medical College as a teaching hospital. The hospital was visited by KP Health Care Commission, Pakistan Medical Commission and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) and recognized by all the three organizations as a charity and a teaching hospital. In 2008 post graduate training for FCPS in the discipline of Medicine and Surgery has been started. Kuwait Teaching Hospital is a charity hospital and provides best quality Medical care to the poor patients at a very nominal rate. It also provides free treatment to many poor patients. Consultants in all disciplines, which include Medicine, Surgery, Gynae/Obs, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, E.N.T, Urology, Vascular Surgery, Medical Oncology, Dermatology, Pathology, Hematology and Interventional Radiology are available. In addition to consultants, medical officers and TMOs in Medicine and Surgery work rounds the clock. Presently the Hospital is a reorganized Institute for post-graduate training in the discipline of Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Gynecology and Cardiology. The hospital intends to start postgraduate training in various other specialties in near future. Apart from normal working, the Hospital is providing 24 hours emergency services through casualty medical officers and consultants on call duties. All essential diagnostic facilities are available for 24 hours.

PESHAWAR – Kuwait Teaching Hospital (KTH) organized a combined farewell for outgoing staff and a welcome reception for newly appointed members in a warm and cordial gathering attended by faculty and administrative teams.

Kuwait Teaching Hospital Observes World Hypertension Day
In commemoration of World Hypertension Day, the Cardiology Department of Kuwait Teaching Hospital (KTH), a constituent of Peshawar Medical College, organized an awareness event at the hospital premises aimed at educating the public on the prevention and management of high blood pressure.

The Cardiology Department of Kuwait Teaching Hospital, a constituent of Peshawar Medical College, organized a free medical camp in Regi Model Town. The initiative aimed to provide quality cardiac care and promote health awareness among underserved communities.
The camp was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdur Rauf (Cardiologist) and comprised both male and female doctors, along with dedicated support staff.
The team offered consultations, conducted diagnostic tests, and provided preventive health advice to visiting patients. The camp facilitated:
• 42 OPD consultations
• 36 ECG tests
• 29 blood sugar tests
