Today one of our preterm, whose birth weight was 1.1 kg , left the neonatal unit . His discharged weight was 1.8kg . His father is holding him in his arms . He stayed in the unit for 59 days . The total cost of care was almost 6 lakh which is far less than any comparable hospital in kpk and Islamabad . In other hospitals the cost would have been around 2 million rupee.
