The Provincial Health Minister, Mr. Khaliq ur Rahman, attended an awareness and fundraising seminar on Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) as the Chief Guest. He highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, support for affected families, and collective efforts to ensure access to life-saving treatment for rare diseases.

The Minister appreciated the efforts of STRIVE and reaffirmed the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s commitment to developing a sustainable and transparent support system for SMA and other rare disease patients through collaboration with healthcare experts, institutions, and partners.

Together, we remain committed to protecting lives and strengthening healthcare for all.
