Anti-Dengue surveillance activities were carried out in Union Council No. 261 under the supervision of Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer DHA Faisalabad.

Multiple service stations, factories and commercial sites were inspected. Dengue teams checked for larvae, ensured preventive measures and provided awareness to owners and staff about eliminating stagnant water and maintaining cleanliness.

Dr. Shahbaz Ahmed, Cheif Executive Officer DHA Faisalabad participated in the Anti-Dengue Awareness Seminar at KIPS College Faisalabad. (208 Chak Road, Saeed Colony No. 2).

An on-campus awareness activity was also conducted to educate students and staff about dengue prevention, cleanliness, and their collective role in eliminating dengue.

03.02.2026 - Day II, NID Feb 2026

Chief Minister's Focal Person for Polio Eradication, Uzma Kardar, Member Provincial Assembly visited Faisalabad to review NID Feb 2026 activities along with Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer DHA Faislalabad, Dr. Azmat Abbas Khichi, District Health Officer (PS) DHA Faislalabad and others.

CM's FP visited a nomadic camp in Green View Colony and checked vaccination status of MMP children; all were found vaccinated. Mobile Team No. 4 vaccinated 27 children till the visit. CM's FP also vaccinated 4 children at House No. 37.

Fixed NID sites and EPI site at Hilal E Ahmar Hospital & Allied Hospital-I, Faislalabad were also visited. Work was found satisfactory.

A Medical Camp was held at Chak No. 269/RB Saloni, Tehsil Saddar for Hepatitis B & C screening and general medical services. A field hospital was deputed on-site to provide immediate care.
The camp was visited by Chief Executive Officer DHA Faisalabad, Assistant Commissioner (Saddar), and Deputy District Health Officer (Saddar). Patient registration and testing are ongoing successfully.

📣 National Immunization Days (NID) – December 2025 | Awareness Session

An awareness session for the upcoming National Immunization Days (NID) December 2025 was held today at Alhamra Hall, District Health Authority Faisalabad, in collaboration with UNICEF.

The session was chaired by Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad, CEO DHA Faisalabad, along with participation from the District Health Officer (PS), AC WHO – Faisalabad Division, and CCO COMNET UNICEF.

Participants included:
• President Private Schools
• Principals (Private Schools)
• DSV
• CSV
• ASVs

During the session, all participants were urged to extend their full cooperation in ensuring maximum vaccination coverage. The Health Department emphasized that vaccine-preventable diseases can only be controlled effectively through strong support from the Education Department and schools. Together, we can achieve our disease elimination targets and protect every child.

The Chief Executive Officer, District Health Authority Faisalabad, Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad, conducted an official visit to THQ Hospital Chak Jhumra, Faisalabad today. The visit included inspections of the following departments:

Male & Female Emergency
Emergency Pharmacy
Paraplegic Centre
OPD Rooms
Pathology Department

During the inspection, all staff were found present at their designated duty stations. The Emergency Medicine Tray was properly maintained and the MIMs Portal was updated. Patients in the Emergency Ward were being provided timely medical care and they expressed satisfaction with the services, including the provision of all essential medicines by the hospital.

The overall cleanliness of the hospital was observed to be satisfactory. Minor issues identified during the visit were promptly addressed and resolved on the spot.

Cheif Executive Officer, District Health Authority paid visits to Field for Anti-Dengue in

Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad (CEO) took the rounds of indoors & outdoors in different communities of for the surveillance of Anti-Dengue activities. Worthy Dignitary visited different possible mosquito breeding sites, checked, cleared the stagnant water & mosquito by fogging activities.

Notice of legal proceedings also have been served to the several households on account the presence of larvae unde Disease Control & Prevention Act.

The District Health & Population Authority Faisalabad conducted intensified dengue surveillance and case response in high-risk UCs of Jinnah Town and Madina Town led by CEO Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad along with entomologists and dengue response teams.

In UC 285, 19 houses were surveyed with three larvae samples found, while in UC 288, 35 houses were checked and one larvae sample collected. Similar validation activities were carried out in UC 213 and UC 214.

Teams were directed to inspect rooftops, ensure door marking, raise household awareness, apply Temephos granules, and upload activities through Android-based tagging. Breeding sites were removed on the spot, with IRS conducted where needed.

Dr. Shahbaz Ahmad, CEO DHA, urged continued vigilance and strict SOP compliance to curb dengue spread.
