Special Outreach Effort to Address Polio Refusals in Taluka Qubo Saeed Khan
In a determined effort to cover as many children as possible during last Feburary National Immunization Days (NID) Polio days, DHO Kamber Shahdadkot, Dr. Gulzar Ali Tunio, led a special outreach effort to Taluka Qubo Saeed Khan, accompanied by the district health team and with the active support of the Assistant Commissioner.
The purpose of the visit was to address and resolve reported polio vaccine refusal cases. Through coordinated field efforts, direct community engagement, and effective counseling of families, the team successfully covered 79 refusal cases, persuading parents to allow their children to receive the life-saving polio vaccine.
The mission involved door-to-door visits, meetings with community elders, and awareness sessions highlighting the importance of polio vaccination in protecting children from lifelong disability. The involvement of local administration further strengthened the outreach efforts and built community trust.
As a result of these collective efforts, the majority of refusal cases in the taluka were resolved. The remaining 13 cases are scheduled to be covered tomorrow, with the team continuing its focused follow-up to ensure full compliance and complete coverage.
Dr. Gulzar emphasized that eradication of polio remains a top public health priority and that every possible step will be taken to ensure that no child is left behind. He appreciated the dedication of vaccinators and the cooperation extended by families who chose to protect their children through vaccination.

هن دوري جو مقصد پوليو ويڪسين بابت رپورٽ ٿيل انڪار ڪيسن کي حل ڪرڻ هو. گڏيل ميداني ڪوششن، سڌي ريت ڪميونٽي سان رابطن، ۽ خاندانن جي مؤثر ڪائونسلنگ ذريعي ٽيم ڪاميابي سان 79 انڪار ڪيسن کي ڪور ڪرڻ ۾ ڪامياب ٿي ۽ والدين کي پنهنجي ٻارن کي زندگي بچائيندڙ پوليو ويڪسين لڳرائڻ لاءِ قائل ڪيو.
هن مهم دوران گهر گهر وڃي ملاقاتون ڪيون ويون، برادري جي معزز ماڻهن سان ويهڪون ڪيون ويون، ۽ آگاهي سيشن منعقد ڪيا ويا، جن ۾ پوليو ويڪسين جي اهميت ۽ ٻارن کي عمر ڀر جي معذوري کان بچائڻ بابت ڄاڻ فراهم ڪئي وئي. مقامي انتظاميا جي شموليت مهم کي وڌيڪ مضبوط بڻايو ۽ ڪميونٽي جو اعتماد وڌايو.
انهن گڏيل ڪوششن جي نتيجي ۾ تعلقي ۾ گهڻا انڪار ڪيس حل ڪيا ويا. باقي رهيل 13 ڪيسن کي سڀاڻي ڪور ڪرڻ لاءِ شيڊول ڪيو ويو آهي، جڏهن ته ٽيم مڪمل ڪوريج يقيني بڻائڻ لاءِ پنهنجون ڪوششون جاري رکندي.
ڊاڪٽر گلزار علي تنيو زور ڀريو ته پوليو جو خاتمو هڪ اهم عوامي صحت ترجيح آهي ۽ هر ممڪن قدم کنيو ويندو ته جيئن ڪو به ٻار ويڪسين کان محروم نه رهي. هن ويڪسينيٽرن جي محنت کي ساراهيو ۽ انهن خاندانن جي سهڪار جو شڪريو ادا ڪيو جن پنهنجي ٻارن کي ويڪسين ذريعي تحفظ فراهم ڪرڻ جو فيصلو ڪيو.
