Early this morning, DHO Kamber Shahdadkot Dr. Gulzar Ali Tunio paid a surprise visit to DHQ Hospital Kamber to review healthcare services. During the visit, it was noted that cleanliness has improved, and further directions were issued to continue efforts to make it even better. Special emphasis was placed on the timely availability and presence of doctors, along with ensuring proper sterilization of medical and surgical instruments through effective use of the autoclave. A detailed discussion was held with Medical Superintendent Dr. Sartaj Ahmed regarding key initiatives, including making the inpatient medical ward and gynecology services—especially labor room fully functional. Additional operational issues were also reviewed to further strengthen service delivery and improve the quality of patient care.

ان موقعي تي ميڊيڪل سپرنٽنڊنٽ ڊاڪٽر سرتاج احمد سان تفصيلي ملاقات پڻ ڪئي وئي، جنهن ۾ ان ڊور ميڊيڪل وارڊ ۽ گائناڪالوجي سروسز، خاص طور تي ليبر روم کي مڪمل طور فعال بڻائڻ بابت ڳالهيون ٿيون. وڌيڪ به ڪجهه معاملن تي پڻ بحث ڪيو ويو ته جيئن مريضن کي بهتر ۽ معياري علاج جون سهولتون فراهم ڪري سگهجن.

During the visit, improved cleanliness standards and better staff availability under the new MS were observed and appreciated. Dr. Gulzar Ali Tunio discussed key areas needing further attention and advised the hospital administration to prioritize and strengthen essential services, including inpatient admissions, proper functioning of the operation theater, OPD services, and medical ward operations, to ensure quality healthcare delivery for patients.

Today, DHO Kamber Shahdadkot, Dr. Gulzar Ali Tunio, visited the 20-bedded Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Gartal.

During the visit, Dr. Gulzar met with doctors and paramedical staff, delivered essential medicines, reviewed their availability, and ensured that any shortages are addressed promptly. He also received feedback from healthcare providers and assured that additional facilities and equipment would be provided in a timely manner to further improve hospital services.

The hospital is fully functional 24/7, with active OPD services and a steady flow of patients benefiting from the facility. The local community of Gartal and surrounding areas has been informed that this healthcare facility is operational and available to meet their medical needs.

Evening Review Meeting (ERM) – Polio NID Dec 2025 | Day 4

Today marked the fourth day of the Polio National Immunization Days (NID).

An Evening Review Meeting was held at the DC Office Kamber, chaired by DC Imdad Ali Abro and DHO Dr. Gulzar Ali Tunio, to review the progress of the ongoing campaign across the district.

During the meeting, Taluka Nasirabad was recognized as the top-performing taluka in the district for its outstanding performance during the previous Polio campaign in October. In appreciation of their efforts, Assistant Commissioner Nasirabad, Mohsin Ali Chandio, and Taluka Focal Person Dr. Salim Akhtar Sheikh were awarded souvenirs by the Deputy Commissioner.

The district administration and health department reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining high performance and ensuring the continued success of immunization activities across all areas.

اڄ پوليو نيشنل ايميونائيزيشن ڊي (NID) جو چوٿون ڏينهن رهيو.

هڪ شام جو جائزو اجلاس DC آفيس ڪمبر ۾ منعقد ڪيو ويو، جنهن جي صدارت DC امداد علي ابڙو ۽ DHO ڊاڪٽر گلزار علي ڪئي، ته جيئن ضلعي ۾ هلندڙ مهم جي ترقي جو جائزو وٺي سگهجي.

اجلاس دوران، تعلقه نصيرآباد کي ضلعي ۾ هڪ بهترين ڪارڪردگي وارو تعلقه طور ساراهيو ويو، جيڪو گذريل پوليو مهم ۾ آڪٽوبر ۾ شاندار ڪارڪردگي ڏيکاري هئي. سندن ڪوششن جي قدر ۾، اسسٽنٽ ڪمشنر نصيرآباد، محسن علي چانڊيو، ۽ ٽالڪا فوڪل پرسن ڊاڪٽر سليم اختر شيخ کي ڊپٽي ڪمشنر پاران يادگاري تحفا ڏنا ويا.

Evening Review Meeting (ERM) – Day 2 of Polio NID (Dec 16)

An Evening Review Meeting (ERM) was held today at the DC Office Kamber, chaired by DC Imdad Ali Abro and DHO Dr. Gulzar Ali Tunio, to review the progress of Day 2 of the ongoing Polio National Immunization Days (NID) campaign.

An additional focused meeting was conducted with UCMOs and area in-charges to listen to their concerns, review field progress, and address operational issues. Following this, the regular evening review assessed overall performance, coverage status, and strategies to further improve vaccination outcomes.

Today, DHO Kamber Shahdadkot Dr. Gulzar Ahmed Tunio inaugurated a new ultrasound facility at the Rural Health Center (RHC) Hospital, Taluka Kubo Saeed Khan.

This facility will help improve maternal and general diagnostic services, providing timely and accessible ultrasound services to the local community. The inauguration reflects the ongoing efforts of the health department to strengthen healthcare facilities and improve patient care at the grassroots level.

With the addition of this ultrasound machine, residents of the area will now have better access to essential diagnostic services closer to home.
