Let’s talk about a silent women’s health issue—Uterine Fibroids.

During our recent session on medical and surgical management of fibroids, we discussed the challenges many women face with symptoms like heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, and infertility—often without knowing the cause is fibroids.

💊 Medical options like hormonal therapy can help manage symptoms.
🔪 Surgical options like myomectomy and hysterectomy offer long-term relief depending on the patient’s needs.
🌀 Newer minimally invasive methods like UAE and MRI-guided focused ultrasound are giving hope to women who want to avoid major surgery.

Fibroids are common but treatable. Early diagnosis and the right management plan can dramatically improve a woman’s quality of life.

DNGH the First private hospital in Balochistan recognized by
CPSP for FCPS part II training under Highly skilled and vastly
experienced faculty. Attachments with stipends are available
for Fellowship training in Gynecology and obstetrics.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• MBBS or equivalent as recognized by PM&DC.
• Fully registered with PM&DC.
• Must have passed FCPS Part-I examination in relevant
specialty.
• Must satisfy selection board of the DNGH for postgraduate
studies/ training.
Note: Government employee should apply through proper
channel.
