The field of physiotherapy is the need of an hour specially in Balochistan. Every other person has some ailment that needs physiotherapy evaluation, every hospital ward needs a physiotherapist for proper functioning, every rehabilitation team is incomplete and actually a joke without a physiotherapist. Yet for some reason it has been vastly ignored, it still has no regulatory body and government did not introduce any policy or structure in order to secure the future of hundreds of physiotherapy students and post graduates. No posts are being created by the officials. We condemn this ignorance that has been ongoing for far too long now, we demand justice.

جیساکہ آپ سب کو معلوم ہے کہ شعبہ فزیو تھراپی کو ہر لہاذ سے دبانے کی کوشش کی جارہی ہے۔ جسکے لئے پشاور میں اپنے جائز مطالبات جو کہ ذیل ہیں
1 *) ڈی پی ٹی کے سٹوڈنٹس کو* *پیڈ ھاؤس جاب دیے جاے* ۔
2 *) فزیو تھراپی کی الگ *کاؤنسل* بنا دی جائے* ۔*
منوانے کیلئے گزشتہ 4 دنوں سے DPT کے طلباء و طالبات دھرنا دیئے بیٹھے ہیں۔ لہذا ان سے اظہار یکجھتی کیلئے بلوچستان ینگ فزیوز نے کوئٹہ پریس کلب میں پریس کانفرنس کا اعلان کیا ہوا ہے۔ آپ تمام ڈی پی ٹی کے ساتھیوں سے شرکت کی اپیل کی جاتی ہے۔

As some people already know that Bmc announced DPT program for students in Baluchistan recently. Before giving any comment on it we would like to clarify that we neither have anything personal against any person nor do we have any reservations against BMC as a medical institute. What we do have is however, Deep concerns regarding the future of Physiotherapy and young physiotherapists under such arrangements as what BMC has to offer. Hear us Out!
There are a number of problems starting from,
1- No seats for the required faculty were published/displayed/advertised anywhere. Everything was decided behind closed doors by some unfortunate feudal mindsets. Yet again, leaving young and local physiotherapists without any opportunity which is shameful. Such unprofessional behavior is untolerable.
2- The students of DPT in University of Balochistan and post graduates are already concerned about little to NO job opportunities in Baluchistan, introducing DPT in an institution like BMC will naturally demerit UoB students under these tough circumstances. We are talking about the future of 1500+ students.
3- No HEC criteria was met while setting up DPT in BMC ignoring all of the major requirements for this department, some of these include:
° No separate department for DPT
° No prior public announcements for the post of Ast. Professor/s or the Principal.
° The alleged principal is already serving as HoD at another govt. Setup/ hospital.
° The alleged principal Does not by any means qualify for this position.

Some people are simple misusing their positions to high jack this field and we are deeply saddened and shocked by the lack of inspection and research by the higher authorities before making it official.
Therefore, we physio community condemn this action and demand it's immediate cancellation. If not, then we will arrange heavy strikes around the city against this fraud.

With regards to the new announcement of post for Assistant professor in Department of Physiotherapy, University of Baluchistan. The students of DPT and post graduates are disappointed with the sheer nepotism being carried out by the department. Favouritism at it's peak has been noticed since a non qualified BS-PT lecturer .Suman Sajid has been considered for this post instead of many other qualified and experienced candidates in Baluchistan holding Advanced degrees in this program from well renowned and prestigious institutes snatching justice away from them. Dr. Suman sajid's fake documentations are under process for this appointment. It is also no secret and surprise that her initial appointment as lecturer also involved special recommendations by some big fishes, hence rigging the process.
Students already have been unhappy from her performances as an educator and even complained about her several times to PM portal. Suman sajid is now trying to enter through back door again and this time for a promotion with the help of her contacts and politics based on the good old pathan /Baloch groups.
We Consider Dr. Razaq shahwani, Dr. Shafi Lahsari and the so called chairperson Dr. Rabia the culprits behind this since they allegedly made competent candidates 'ineligible' to even apply for the post so that they can carry out their dirty deeds and corruption through their desired choices.
It is utterly unfair and we request the higher authorities to look into this matter. It should either be fair or the post should be cancelled immediately. If not, then the students and post graduates are willing to take this matter to court. We cannot allow anymore politics or injustice in our department.

یونیورسٹی اف بلوچستان میں ڈی پی ٹی ڈیپارٹمنٹ میں اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر کی پوسٹ کیلئے کوالیفائیڈ ایکسپرٹ فیزیوتھراپسٹ کو نظر انداز کر کے منظور نظر ایک نان کوالیفائیڈ فیمیل سمن ساجد جس کی تعلیی قابلیت بی ایس پی ٹی کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں کو جعلی ڈاکومنٹس تیار کر کے اپوائنٹ کرنے کی تیاری ھورہی جو پہلے ھی کسی خاص شخصیت کی سفارش پر لیکچرر تعینات کی گئ ھے اور سٹوڈنٹس پہلے ہی ان سے تنگ ھے پڑھائی کی بجائے سیاست اور گروپنگ کروا کر نسل پرستی کو ھوا دے رہی ھے جس کی شکایت کئ مرتبہ پرائم منسٹر پورٹل پر بھی کی جا چکی ھے جو اپنی لیکچرر شپ کی زمہ داریاں احسن طریقے سے انجام نہیں دے رہی اب ان کو پورے ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے اوپر مسلط کرنے کی کوششیں کی جا رہی ہے ہم ڈی پی ٹی کے سٹوڈنٹس اور گریجویٹ کسی صورت اس اقدام کو برداشت نہیں کرینگے اور اگر یونیورسٹی نے زبردستی اپوائنٹمنٹ کرنے کی کوشش کی تو ہم اس کے خلاف کورٹ سے رجوع کرینگے
