✴ Ramadan 2024 is only few of weeks away.🌙 As we are still weeks away for this blessed month I thought of writing down a list of things which I want to achieve during this month that will keep continuing as a habit In Shaa ALLAH... Then, I thought I’ll draw them as a reminder😌 For some of us it could be the most anticipated first Ramadan and for some of us it can be one of the most toughest Ramadan due to various reasons etc. Either way, I hope and pray that this Ramadan will heal us,bring us closer to our faith and unite our ummah as one🤍Aameen SummaAameen .

🔹️People can manage their stress and anxiety with relaxation techniques, such as breathing exercises, physical activity, and talking about their worries.

💠 Stress:-

"Stress is the physical or mental response to an external cause, such as having a lot of homework or having an illness."

🔹️Everyone experiences stress, and sometimes that stress can feel overwhelming. You may be at risk for an anxiety disorder if it feels like you can’t manage the stress and if the symptoms of your stress:-
● Interfere with your everyday life.
● Cause you to avoid doing things.
● Seem to be always present.
➡️ Symptoms:-
▪️Changes in mood,Diarrhea.
▪️Clammy or sweaty palms
▪️Difficulty sleeping,Digestive problems.
▪️Dizziness,Feeling anxious.

▪️Feelings of nervousness, worry, panic, fear, and unease.
▪️Muscle tightness, Nausea.
▪️Rapid or irregular heartbeat.
▪️Sweaty or cold hands and/or feet.
▪️Tingling or numbness in the hands or feet.
▪️Unable to be calm or hold still.

💠 Coping With Stress and Anxiety🔍👩🏻‍⚕️

🔹️Learning what causes or triggers your stress and what coping techniques work for you can help reduce your anxiety and improve your daily life. It may take trial and error to discover what works best for you.

💠 Here are some "Activities" you can try when you start to feel overwhelmed:
🔸️Keep a journal.
🔸️Exercise, and make sure you are eating healthy, regular meals.
🔸️Stick to a sleep routine, and make sure you are getting enough sleep.
🔸️Avoid drinking excess caffeine such as soft drinks or coffee.
🔸️️Identify and challenge your negative and unhelpful thoughts.
🔸️Reach out to your friends or family members who help you cope in a positive way.

🔸️There are Three basic positions of perception that we can take in any situation:-
▪️First Position: (Our own shoes, seeing the world through our own eyes).
▪️Second Position: (Standing in other person's shoes). OR
▪️Third Position: (Neutral observer).

🔹️"Perceptual Positions" is an exercise with roots in NLP and an amazing way to build up four things:-
1️⃣ First: Self-awereness and better understanding of our own perception of the world.
2️⃣ Second: Empathy and better understanding for others.
3️⃣ Third: Strengthen the objective view on the situation.
4️⃣ Fourth: Discover new (cognitive) perspectives and insights into any situation or relationship.

🔸️Then, you might choose discuss when is most useful to use each of the positions (eg. 3rd and 4th for Objectivity, 2nd for Empathy, 1st to keep own needs and goals in mind.)

🔸️Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way to help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. The sessions are combination of psychiatrist and psychologist.

Problems helped by psychotherapy include difficulties in coping with daily life; the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss, like the death of a loved one; and specific mental disorders, like depression or anxiety.

➡️There are several different types of psychotherapy and some types may work better with certain problems or issues. Psychotherapy may be used in combination with medication or other therapies.

🔹️Types of therapy:
• Cognitive behavioural therapy.
• Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy
• Psychodynamic therapy.
• Interpersonal therapy (IPT)
• Dialectical behavior therapy
• Psychoanalysis.
• Supportive therapy.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative treatment based on the relationship between an individual and a psychologist.

Quite a few forms of psychotherapy only last for a few sessions, whereas others may last for a few months to years. Sessions are usually for an hour per week and they follow a structured process.

The goals of treatment and arrangements for how often and how long to meet are planned jointly by the client and therapist.

🎭🌜Some people assume everything in their life as permanent, which later hurt them since they're not.
We need to understand that our life is not confined to certain things that we have. Things come and go too often, and so do some people. Don't limit your thinking, know that you can achieve much greater than this.
We must perceive the world as broad as possible, the narrow our vision, the harder it gets to go through it. Believe that everything will be alright and move on, stay in harmony with things but never think of them as permanent with you.📖✍🏻🌝🤍🍂✨✨
