16 year old girl with spastic paraparesis and diagnosed as a case of extradural cystic spinal tumour. Tumour extending from T6 to T10 vertebra.
Long laminotomy done and cyst excised completely. Laminotomy segment fixed in place again with titanium mini screws & plates to restore near normal anatomy.
Post operative patient neurological status improved.

18 Year old girl with sacrum fracture & L5-S1 dislocation.
Lumbo-Sacro-Iliac Fixation done.
Iliac screws gives perfect & rigid fixation with very good reduction in such sacral fractures.
Its done under special C-arm views like pelvic inlet, obturator outlet(tear drop) & lateral views.
Patient is pain free & walking. 🙂

40 year Female with post discectomy discitis & instability is successfully operated for Lumbo-sacral- iliac Fixation and Fusion.
(L4-L5- Ilium Transpedicle Screw Fixation & L5-S1 Fusion)

Pediatric neurosurgery:
Multiple Brain abscess excision in 1 year old baby with Atrial Septal Defect. Hemiparesis & conscious level improved post operatively.

First time Minimal Invasive Spine Fixation Surgery:
45 Year male operated for L4 traumatic Fracture Minimal Invasive Transpedicular Fixation.
Surgery done through 4 small 1.5 cm incisions.
This is superior to the conventional surgery in terms minimal blood loss, short duration of surgery, minimal normal tissue trauma and patients with normal neurology can walk very next morning.🙂

Trauma Neurosurgery (Head Injury):
55 year old man operated for Acute Subdural Hematoma, Cerebral Contusions and Subarachanoid Hemorrhage.
He was unconscious with GCS 7/15, anisocoria and right hemiparesis. Immediately intubated/paralysed and shifted to OT for emergent surgery.
Left sided decompressive craniotomy done with evacuation of Subdural Hematoma.
Post operatively kept sedated/Ventilated for 10 days and weaned off gradually after tracheostomy.
He recovered to full consciousness and started oral intake.
Tracheostomy removed and he started talking as well. Cranioplasty will be done soon.🙂
