Alhamdulillah SYNCH SLMC in collaboration with SYNCH Doctors’ Forum arranged Free Medical camp at Basirpur, Okara.

I had the privilege to be a part of this campaign where facilities like medical consultations and check-up, free medicine and screening tests like Hepatitis B,C and BSR were provided.
More than 350 patients were served in the locality.

I visited Muzaffarabad and attended Research Seminar organised by SYNCH AJKMC. The aim of the session was to motivate and guide students about the basics of medical Research.
Session was also attended by Principal AJKMC Prof Mulazim Hussain Bukhari and other faculty members. It was a very well managed session, and students showed keen interest in the field of research.

An Awareness Walk was held on the occasion of WORLD NO TO***CO DAY! SYNCH is working in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO) Pakistan to promote To***co Free Environment.

Efforts of SYNCH were appreciated and acknowledged by World Health Organisation (Pakistan). An appreciation award was received from Dr Palitha Mahipala (Country Head World Health Organisation, Pakistan)

Members from SYNCH FMDC, Fazaia Medical College, RMU, Al Nafees Medical College and Poonch Medical College attended today’s awareness walk Organised by WHO at WHO Country Office, Islamabad!

I dedicate this award to all the members of SYNCH! You are all heros working day and night for the betterment of people. Ap sb hmara fakhar hein. SYNCH has got the best members, Alhamdulillah.

I had a meeting with members of SYNCH from MBBSMC and MIMC Mirpur, AJK.
I am really impressed with the working of the members in the domains of Health Education, Welfare.
We also had discussion on how to become good doctors,how to deal with patients with kindness,and promote healthy Doctor Patient Relationship and spread this positivity across communities around us by giving practical examples in every day life and remember our true purpose that is “to serve humanity”.

The purpose of this event was to discuss and improve healthcare standards and thus facilitate the patients.

A meeting was held with Deputy Commissioner Kashmore and detailed report of Medical Camps was presented to him. He greatly appreciated the efforts of SYNCH members and presented certificates of appreciation along with a kind traditional gesture of giving “Ajrak Shawls” as a symbol of immense hospitality and boosted up our motivation and hopes to work with Sindh government in the future projects as well.

شکوۂ ظلمتِ شب سے تو کہیں بہتر تھا
اپنے حصے کی کوئی شمع جلاتے جاتے

سینک کے زیرِ اہتمام کشمور کندھ کوٹ (سندھ) میں میڈیکل کیمپس کا انعقاد کیا گیا! سیلاب کی وجہ سے سندھ میں لوگوں کو نہ صرف جانی ، مالی نقصان ہوا بلکہ بارشوں اور سیلاب سے پانی جمع ہونے اور رکنے کی وجہ سے لوگوں کو بہت زیادہ صحت کے مسائل درپیش ہیں۔ اور مزید یہ کہ صحت کی بنیادی سہولیات نہ ہونے اور غذا کی قلت کی وجہ سے لوگوں کی حالت تشویشناک ہے!

I had a meeting with members of SYNCH from Dera Ghazi Khan Medical College.

The local council consists of more than 100 active members. SYNCH DGKMC has participated actively in the projects of SYNCH including career counseling projects, global warming awareness campaign, welfare projects, and health awareness projects.
They not only provided ration to the flood affectees but also conducted medical camps in Southern Punjab.

Also, they have recently conducted workshops on BLS training, USMLE & FCPS guidance, and Research Importance and methodology.
Huge appreciation for the enthusiastic members of this unit!

So here are highlights from our Mobile medical camp on day 3 of Balochistan Flood Relief Campaign.

We reached different far flung areas in the periphery of Qila Saifullah. Those areas completely lacked basic facilities. There was not even a single health care facility nearby, due to which people suffered a lot. So we provided them with medicines and guided them about its use!

A glance at our Day 2, Medical Camp, at Nassai, Qila Saifullah, Balochistan.

Nassai is one of the most severely flood-afflicted area. There's a Rural Health Center (RHC) in the locality but due to lack of staff, people do not have access to basic health services for which they've to travel long distances for Loralai (80km) or Quetta (180km), which is inconvenient and surely, unaffordable!

So setting up a Medical Camp in the area was a huge relief for the locals! We treated 500+ patients & provided them with free medicines!
Common diseases in the area included, gastroenteritis, skin allergies & infections, respiratory tract infections, anemia and malnutrition!

Children are pure, energetic & reactionary. Always have i loved spending time around children and that is why i plan on pursuing Paediatrics as my career, IA!

During my visit to Balochistan and Sindh, I realized that a lot of people are living below the poverty line, do not have any access to the basic amenities and most severely affected ones amongst them are children! We saw a lot of cases of anemia and severe malnutrition, mainly due to lack of nutrition and resources!

May ALLAH guide us and give us power to do something for all those who are in dire need of help!

It was conducted in three different areas in Balochistan i.e: Akhtarzai, Qilli Do Bandi & Qilli Qila!
A heartwarming & motivating experience of kindness, empathy n compassion, altogether!!
