Yesterday, had the privilege of hosting Mr. Carlo De Rosa, Development Advisor for Rural Development and Nutrition from the EU Delegation, who visited MCHC Naseerabad and NSC Sukkur. He was accompanied by representatives from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and MERF.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by our Regional Director, PPHI Sukkur, Sir Col. (R) Sirajuddin Channa Sb, along with ADM Naimatullah Mirani and DNC Jalaluddin. They provided a comprehensive briefing on the range of healthcare services PPHI offers specifically Nutrition.

During their visit, the delegation toured the OTP site and NSC Sukkur, where they were informed about the support provided to malnourished children, including IYCF (Infant and Young Child Feeding) practices and integrated healthcare services. They also visited key corners such as the MCHC lab, labor room, KMC room, ANC, and PNC corners.

Col. (R) Sirajuddin sb highlighted PPHI’s ongoing efforts to provide high-quality primary healthcare services to the community. The delegation expressed their appreciation for the dedication and services provided by PPHI.

Respected Regional Director RO-IV Sukkur Lt Col (r) Dr. Sirajuddin Channa along with the Regional Team paid a detailed visit today at MCHC Kausar hospital Khairpur.

During the visit, RD sahb checked every service at the HF including ER section, OPD rooms, ANC, surgical ward, main laboratory and skill lab etc.

# Yesterday Worthy CEO PPHI Sindh, Sir Javed Ali Jagirani chaired Quarterly Review Meeting (QRM) of Region Sukkur and Larkana at the conference hall of RO-IV Sukkur.

The meeting was attended by Director Health Services, Dr Zakir Ali sahb, both RDs of RO-III and RO-IV along with DMs, regional teams and technical teams of DOs.

The following agenda points were discussed in detail in the meeting:

1. Compliance status of last QRM minutes
2. IDM findings and observations
3. Performance indicators of last quarter
4. RHCs performance
5. EPI performance
6. MMU inputs
7. MOM visits

Worthy CEO sahb directed and motivated teams of both regions to improve low performing areas through dedicated efforts with special focus on services quality.

* CEO PPHI Sindh* visit to RO IV Sukkur, today on dated 04-05-2024 honourable *CEO PPHI Sindh* paid prestigious visit to RO IV Sukkur. Worthy sir interacted with team Respected Regional Director, Sukkur, DM Sukkur, all core staff of RO IV and DO Sukkur one by one in-person. He inquired about working environment of PPHI, issues and challenges being faced by them in the field. Sir also welcomed feedback/suggestions and insights of all interviewee. Worthy sir appreciated their endeavors and services.

Respected Regional Director RO-IV Sukkur Lt Col R. Sirajuddin Channa along with the regional team (RMMs and PHS) visited RHC Pir Jo Goth today.

During the visit, RD sahb checked the dental unit, eye OT, OTP, OPD rooms, medicine store, stat lab, indoor wards, casualty, ultrasound service and MCHC services. Conducted brief meetings with the staff and inquired about performance of sections and their respective issues.

RD sahb also highlighted some observations and directed the DO team, administrator and regional team to support the RHC team in resolving their specific issues. Moreover, RHC staff was also sensitized to improve the quality healthcare services to poor masses of the catchment.

The Guest Participants: District Health officer Khairpur, & ADHO, Nutrition and preventive services.

The meeting started with recitation of Holy Quran.
Quarterly performance, Jan- March 2024, were discussed in detail.

Later on, yesterday a post visit meeting was chaired by RD sahb with the DO team and that was participated by DM along with his monitoring and store team.

Worthy Chief Operating Officer PPHI Sindh, Sir Riaz Hussain Rahoojo and Regional Director Sukkur, Dr Zuhaib Islam Abbasi inaugurated Eye Unit along with O. T, Dental Clinic and Stat Lab at RHC Pir Jo Goth.

During the event today, worthy COO visited Eye OT, dental clinic, stat lab, OTP site and peads ward and appreciated the functionality of additional services at the RHC. He also met with patients who were being provided services of eye surgery, dental service and lab tests services and showed his content over patients' positive feedback about the services.

Worthy COO appreciated the whole team of DO KHP-B and RHC Pir Jo Goth for enhancing the healthcare services for the general public of Pir Jo Goth and vicinity.
