A meeting was held today (24-07-2025) at the DMS Office under the chairmanship of Dr. Anwar Zeb Khan (DMS Admin) to review and strategize the preparations for the upcoming PMDC visit.

The meeting was attended by key stakeholders, Dr. Najeeb Ullah (I/C Medical OPD), Dr. Asghar Ali Khan (DMS IPC/HR), Mr. Arshad Ali (AD I.T), Mr. Rahmat Ali (Ex-Senior Head Nurse / Asst Prof GCON), Mr. Noor Alam Khan DMO-DGHIS Cell, Mr. Barkat Ali (Biomedical Engineer).

The agenda focused on enhancing hospital readiness and academic standards. Dr. Najeeb Ullah and Dr. Anwar Zeb Khan highlighted the importance of teamwork and proactive efforts to ensure a successful PMDC inspection and long term institutional development.

The Anti-Rape Crisis Cell (ARCC) was formally inaugurated on 9th July 2025 at the Casualty Department of Saidu Group of Teaching Hospitals (SGTH), Swat Established by the UN Women.

Prof. Dr. Israr Ul Haq, Principal & Chief Executive SMC & SGTH, along with Medical Superintendent Dr. Jamil Ahmad warmly welcomed the distinguished guests.

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Asad Hameed Khan, District & Sessions Judge Swat. Attended by Mr. Sher Khan Rule of Law Expert UN Women, Noman Ali Additional Deputy Commissioner Swat, Syed Naeem District Public Prosecutor Swat, Rep: District Police Officer Swat, Dr. Ahmad Ali Rep: District Health Officer, Advocate Ms. Samreen Hakeem and other participants from judiciary and prosecution.

The presence of key figures from the judiciary, district administration, and law enforcement agencies reaffirmed a collective commitment to justice, survivor protection, and trauma-informed care.

This milestone marks a vital step toward enhancing emergency response and strengthening support services for survivors of gender-based violence in the region.

After the formal Inauguration of ARCC, Dr. Anwar Zeb Khan DMS Admin and Focal Person ARCC gave a detailed visit of the Anti-Rape Crisis Cell to all the stakeholders.

A two days comprehensive training session on Infection Prevention Control Organized by 𝐍𝐅𝐃𝐒𝐒 𝐂𝐄𝐎𝐇 - 𝐍𝐈𝐇 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 was successfully conducted on 2nd and 3rd June at 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐮 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞, 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐭 aimed to enhance the capacity of healthcare professionals in early detection, containment, and effective response to Candida auris outbreaks.

الحمدللہ!
سیدو ٹیچنگ ہسپتال نے محدود وسائل کے باوجود اعلیٰ پیشہ ورانہ کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے، آئی ایم یو (IMU) کی سہ ماہی رپورٹ (مارچ تا مئی) کے مطابق صوبہ خیبرپختونخوا کے تمام ہسپتالوں میں پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی ہے۔

یہ اعزاز ہمارے ڈاکٹرز، نرسنگ، پیرامیڈیکل، انتظامی ٹیم، اور کمیونٹی کے تعاون سے ممکن ہوا ہے۔

ہم پُرامید ہیں کہ آئندہ بھی اسی جذبے اور لگن کے ساتھ ہسپتال کا عملہ عوام الناس کو بہترین طبی سہولیات فراہم کرنے کے لیے کوشاں رہے گا، ان شاء اللہ۔

A training session on 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓-𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 (GBV) was held today, 15 May 2025, at ENT Conference Room, Saidu Group of Teaching Hospitals, Swat. Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, and Class IV staff actively participated as part of 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉-11.

Dr. Anwer Zeb (DMS Admin) and Dr. Sayma Khan (DMS Gynae) delivered an insightful and impactful presentation, highlighting key issues related to gender-based violence and emphasizing the importance of proactive awareness and timely response.
They appreciated the efforts of the participants and distributed certificates at the end of the session.
